My pay was based on the HEU agreement. However, it is less than they pay at Fraser Health. The culture of co-workers can be very friendly but only if they like you. There any many cliques and if certain people don't like you, they can make your life very difficult. But, it starts at the top. The management does not care about it's workers and does not respect it employees. They are desperate for RN's so they re-hired an RN that they had previously fired. This created a very toxic work environment.

Care staff work as a team to get things done. It can be very busy like all LTC. At least, you usually work with same colleagues who are familiar with their work, instead of jumping into a shift with different new faces and disoriented each time. They have good housekeeping team, environment is always clean and no smelly smell hanging. Manager is approachable. 


There is a lot of disrespect, backstabbing, and gossiping. The manager comes in weekly to have meetings with staff and ends up making you feel horrible about what you are doing. You are left deflated and uninspired to do more. There is never any appreciation for the great job that you do, or the initiatives that you bring to the table.  There is no teamwork.  

Was a nice place to work, staff were warm and welcoming and collaborative.  Nursing tasks during shifts had too much time allotted per task so it would have been nicer to have more duties to close the gaps.  The only thing I did not like, was how aggressive and combative one of the head levels of management was.  She was very stressful to be around and gives one great levels of anxiety.  Fortunately she was not on site very much.

Not a terrible facility to work at if you can avoid getting involved with the workplace politics. This place has a very high turnover rate and I would rate the management below expectations mainly due to the facilities Nursing Care Manager.

Management is an old woman with old style that has to be HER WAY or NO WAY!!!
Cultures of staff STICK TOGETHER and tattle-take to the Old Wonan.  Shecrules euth z hard core abrupt condescending attitude.

great organization to be involved with, flexible hours, hands on management, advancement available, several locations, if you like to work with seniors, then this is a good environment to do so

It's a nice place to work! Good wages and benefits. Management and care staff  are supportive, friendly and reasonable. It's a very safe place to work and happy place.

I love enjoy working in this field being able to assist someone with their daily activities and I feel great after

it is a busy work place, staffs there are very productive and helpful. It's a good place to start, can learn a lot, and pick up many shifts u want. The culture is diversified.
