A normal day is 8 hours of not knowing what will happen. I have learned that if you don't have the right managment nothing will work out right.Since we were bought out they will not spend a dime on anything and forget about a raise. They brought there own managers in who won't listen or go to bat for anybody but themselves,they are out for themselves,because they do't know what they are doing.They have put cameras in and tell you it's for food safety,but all they do is watch it and take pictures if you go for a smoke or something.My co-worker's are just out for themselves and will turn their back on you or rat you out in a heartbeat,it is not a fun place to work anymore,plus they are cutting hours back because they can't get the work in.The only good thing is that it is close to my home other than that nothing.

The women do the fast paced work catching products a end of line making the least amount if money. Mostly men operated the feeding which was by far an easier job to do. Only men did the jobs that paid more than minimum wage. 
Terrible pay for the amount of fast oaced work. They trained me on one machine but threw me to the wolves going on a machine I wasn't trained for and was was too fast. I had product spilling everywhere and guy wouldn't turn off machine he just keep  running it and I wanted to quit on the spot.

Oversee morning start up, good or bad and review with supervisors.
All areas of production had to be at optimum throughput.

Micro managed 

The employees were under extreme pressure to exceed expectations both production and quality. 

At the end of the day the customers were 100% satisfied with the products made, customer service and our customers had a great relationship and communications were good.

not sure what your going to be doing hour to hour things change min to min no one like to show you anything you have to try figure things out your self.micro manage.workplace culture a bunch of back stabbers.hards part of the job is showing up and working day shift the packers are nothing but trouble there.working by yourself is good.

Terrible company, management is a joke. They do not care about you. Benefits are terrible, no cost of living raise in 10+ years. Poor to no advancement plan. Highly stressful environment coupled with supervisors who know nothing about the department they are in charge of.

the work load these days is a lot, so the days fly by. the good thing is that there is lots of chance for overtime and even double time.

the supervisor in my department is really good and even gets on the lines to work with us if things get really busy.

Management is awful and very old school.
Night shift Hours are extremely draining. Environment is very depressing. Benefits are good. Casing helper is the worst possible job. Training is non existent 

Its a good environment to work in, the employees or team player. The salary is not that up there and could be better.

Working there you have to have eyes in the back of your head. Don't say to much or ask to much to anyone because they run right behind your back and tell everyone.

Overall, good group of people who cared about the "end product" and making sure that the customer was happy.
I can't say enough about the team that I worked with... Fantastic.
