I am a part-time sales associate. I have learned exceptional customer service and the process of adding on products to the sale.
The hardest part of the job is that you deal with different people who have different taste on clothes and I have to connect with them in order to understand what do they really want.

The most enjoyable part of the job is that I can try clothes on during my shift in order to have the product knowledge

cutting and clearing brush. i learned to cut brush and clear with a brush saw. manage the brush saw safe and sound with the right equipment. it was easy and fun to have three extra people working beside me. was fixing the brush saw clearing the brush off side of road. packing up and cleaning the brush saws and going home

Working for the Billabong/West 49 company was a great experience. I became close with so many new people who all had similar interest to mine, making work way more enjoyable. Management could be improved but that could be just my store location.

Usually open the store with a manger, and have to make sure everything is tidy and stocked. When the store is open, I always have to make sure I am greeting costumers and keeping myself busy with either cleaning or stocking. I really like the interaction I have with costumers.

Work was usually in frenzied bursts of activity. Pressure was always on to meet the month's shipping goals in dollars. Otherwise the environment was pretty relaxed.

I love working at Billabong. We are all close which makes the shifts go by smooth and quick. My manager is amazing but also very strict with us. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to help customers find exactly what they need and to be able to leave with a smile on their face.

A typical day at work included placing new labels on the merchandise that was received. The management was not very organized and not straight forward with what they wanted.

This area was about only service. Service training, development and self growth. Many classes and courses are taken as you learn the company and it's roots and focus

Low Traffic Boutique was a fun and laid back culture. Worked on sales targets that were challenging with slow traffic patterns.
