My time at Blue Giant was okay. It started rough, got a little better and ended with a better opportunity coming my way. Overall I can say I learnt a lot professionally and personally as well. Over the years, I have observed that all levels of management have created a culture of fear. Employees are fearful of being terminated when they speak about issues and it seemed that employee's concerns weren't taken seriously. They've also created a burn out culture. One of the biggest concerns is if an employee performs well doing certain tasks, more tasks are given to them to the point of it becoming burdensome. That is not an inclusive management style and it is one that will lead to employee dissatisfaction. I will add that there is no substantial monetary compensation for being given and successfully completing these extra tasks. Speaking of monetary compensation, I can say that I was severely underpaid from the get-go, and when I left there, despite the promotion, I was still being underpaid compared to what the market was offering for the lesser title. I know that being paid fairly is an issue and the disparity is severe. You can have department lunches and bring the donuts in, you can provide training and offer support, but those things aren't going to fix the fundamental issues. I urge you to please listen to your employees on the ground. 

Production is a complete mess. Horrible environment, barely anyone speaks english or can even weld properly. Managers don't care about you unless you're part of the Portuguese family that makes up almost half the staff. HR manager doesn't know the meaning of confidentiality and will lie to you when it suits her. GM took away everyone's week vacation in December and then took the week off for himself right after he got promoted. Only GM got fired for sitting in his office all day and not doing anything. Don't expect any decent salary or bonuses unless you work in the office. 

Management is horrible . They don't listen to their staff at all . They say upon hiring you will be fully supported in your role but all your supporting managers are always out of office or not doing their own jobs to support you.  They don't have the resources needed to make things efficient and God forbid you try to get them to use the program they invested in as a tool .. salesforce ..

Satisfying your boss goals and expectations.

Depends on what you do there, if its sales then you work your behind off

good if you don't have deal with bosses

I worked in the engineering department and the team and management are very supportive. Always willing to help answer questions.

One of the things I appreciated was the effort put into preparing meetings for bigger projects to make sure everyone is on the same page and properly informed. No need for guess work. 

As  you continue to work there, you feel like you become part of a family. Blue Giant is one of the best places I have ever worked.

I worked here for about a year through a Agency, I have been asking for months when will they hire me because they told me that we will hire you soon so every 2 months I would follow up with them but kept telling me soon due to they don’t have an open position for me fully. On the day of my 1 year working for them they hired a new worker and later let me go 2 days  after telling me they had no positions opened.

As a working experience this is a good company. The reason why i am looking for another job is i am on temporary position and i am looking for permanent position. I am doing Whole accounts payable for this company. this is a company having branches in USA also and i am working for that.

A growing company with great leadership team and it’s has a production driven workforce which is a great aptitude be profitable and competitive. 
They have an excellent health and safety program

Poor wages and they made promises to break. Never valued you until you leave the job. Fired people without any backup plan to put pressure on others. Worst experience. 

Management in the back is a joke and with hide threats of firing in every meeting. You'll have to fight to get your revues let alone a raise. The work is normal to any other job but the consent fear of being let go is a problem.
