If you're considering joining, be very cautious - in my experience, the reality of this company was very different from how it presents itself.

Leadership often lacked the industry knowledge and professional leadership capability needed to effectively support agents. There appeared to be gaps at the senior level, which showed in day-to-day operations, decision-making, and limited access to meaningful guidance or support.

The environment felt highly challenging. High-performing or knowledgeable individuals were not consistently developed or retained - many chose to leave due to a culture that felt competitive, with limited collaboration and inconsistent professionalism.

One of the more concerning aspects was the disconnect between the company’s public image and the internal experience. The volume of positive reviews did not align with what I observed day-to-day, which may lead to misaligned expectations for prospective agents.

Management communication was often inconsistent, and at times lacked clarity or accountability. Expectations were unclear, support was minimal, and training/onboarding was limited.

From a compensation standpoint, the splits were below what I would expect given the level of support and lead quality provided. For self-generated business, the model was difficult to justify financially.

Bottom line:
If you're new, you may want to carefully consider whether this environment aligns with your goals. Those who are comfortable operating independently may find better outcomes by sourcing their own leads and maintaining greater control over their business.

This is the best company I've ever worked for, and I don't say that lightly. Its such a family environment and everyone works for everyone. Its a team built on high morals and even higher goals of success. I've done a lot of self growth within this company, and they've never shown me anything but love and compassion helping me reach new personal heights and records. I've worked within the financial industry for 5 years, and its been a lot of boiler room type companies I've been apart of. This is the opposite of that, building people through positive reinforcements and always choosing the high road to help their clients at the highest standard. I've been with the company for 5 months total, and I'll be sure to keep this review updated but so far I have zero complaints. This is the first time in my life I wake up in the morning excited to go to work. Keep up the good and honest management, and this company will continue to climb. 

I have been part of Blue Pearl since it first began. The president truly cares about the employees. When I first got the position, he stated that he wanted to make sure that I did not want to leave. The company was in Langley, which is out of the way but I relocated to Surrey. I love that it is located in Surrey now.

There is flexibility with schedule. The down side is you have to come into the office to work but everyone here thinks that is a good thing because it keeps us motivated. I definitely would not be as successful working from home. The president really wants to ensure that everyone is happy. I love that there is benefits provided within the company. I feel that this sets it apart from other mortgage companies. 

The company really wants to bring on high quality hires that will stay with the company. I would definitely recommend them.

As a brand new member of being in the mortgage industry, being with Blue Pearl has been the best company I've worked for . Everyone pushes each other to maximize individual personal and self growth. With little to no experience, Blue Pearl offers great communication in sales and learning the ins and outs in the industry. The time I've had with Blue Pearl has been great, it has been nothing but me developing my skills and even improved my personal self growth everyday. Being around everyone in Blue Pearl has truly been uplifting and makes you motivated everyday. Management team truly cares of everyone's personal growth, success and even outside work . If you're looking for competent leadership, solid/on-going training, decent leads, or competitive splits, this is not the place. May only work if you're fully independent and don't need support of any kind and don't want to bring in your own business.

I've had the pleasure of working at Blue Pearl Mortgage Group for a couple of years now, and I couldn't be happier. Blue Pearl Mortgage Group is a great way to start your career as a mortgage broker. Their tier system is set up in a way where you can learn the ins and outs of the mortgage industry in less than 1 year. The is 1 on 1 training and the senior brokers really care about supporting the junior associates. Leadership is amazing and gets everyone on the team involved in everything we do. The environment and culture in the workplace is fun, relaxed, and also competitive. With the cold calling system, you can really build your business and learn many personal skills. Getting paid a salary to learn a new career is unmatched compared to other brokerages. 

I joined Blue Pearl in 2019 to be a Mortgage Broker. I originally came from only a private lending background so I had no clue about A traditional bank or alternative lending. In my first year I learnt so much about the different types of lending and what sales techniques to use, how to handle objections how to read and review credit bureaus and process applications while building value. Everyone at our office is so helpful and supportive and wants everyone to be successful. It’s a very high motivation and fast phased group.
