I met the owner, Bonnie in December 2018 through a friend of ours who was spending the holidays with her. Since, I have been working part-time for her as a Leasing Specialist/ Property Administrator. The experience that I have gained is incredible. I really enjoy going to great companies in the GTA and expanding my network. Bonnie is kind-hearted and has a beautiful soul. She looks out for the best interests of her clients and employees. She even awarded me with a scholarship to aid with my studies at York University. She will push you to grow in all areas and help you to advance in the Property Management Industry.

I met Bonnie Hoy in 2007 when I was working for a PM company that used her services.i worked for Bonnie part time on the weekends back then and really liked the experience. So years after when I was ready to go back to work after taking a long maternity leave with my kids I contacted Bonnie again as her company is well known and has great reputation in Property Management Industry. I worked for Bonnie for 1,5 years as Leasing Agent / Property Administrator. I really enjoyed it because I had some flexibility and also worked for great companies which allowed me to gain more experience and broaden my network. Bonnie discussed some full time opportunities but never pressured me to consider them when I wasn’t ready. Time finally came to move on as I got an offer from an amazing company that I really liked. I have worked for Bonnie Hoy & Associates on and off for about 4 years. I was a student and had a family of my own and this job was flexible and allowed me to balance school, family and work life. Bonnie is great and the most kind person you will ever meet. The pay is above minimum wage. I learned how to work in a high pressure, competitive industry. 
A typical day at work consisted of getting your weekly schedule. I worked in a building showing prospect tenants available units, and assisted them to fill applications and sign tenancy agreements.   I worked in building's where the management was super amazing. 
Some of the management at the buildings can be difficult to work for but Bonnie was always there to support her workers when needed. I felt a part of a family working at Bonnie Hoy & Associates. It's a great company  and great team.

I have worked for Bonnie Hoy and Associates off and on for many years. I have always had positive experiences and the opportunity for growth as a result of working for this company, are second to none! I have been working as a Leasing Consultant at Bonnie Hoy & Associates for more than 7 years now and have developed impeccable communication skills, and an ability to deal with agitated or distressed customers. I am accustomed to working on multiple projects simultaneously, and can offer new ideas to help your company grow and surpass all goals and objectives. My duties included supporting and coordinating customers within queue to minimize wait time and encourage efficient service methods. My experience at Bonnie Hoy & Associates has helped me improve my skills in leadership, allowed me to gain organizational skills, and has provided me with extensive knowledge of how to upsell services and goods to potential clients.

I have been working for this company for a total of 8 years. I really enjoyed my job. I met and worked with a lot of different companies such as Medallion Corporation, Timbercreek Communities, Sterling Karamar etc. I've worked in Toronto, Kitchener, London & Hamilton throughout the years. I've even went to Prince Edward Island to help train a Property Manager for CAPREIT for 2 months. I went to York University to major in Law while working for Bonnie Hoy & Associates and realized that I love interacting with people. The best part of my job was working in different cities, meeting new people and just learning everything I did about the industry.

I really enjoyed my interactions with residents, my co-workers and my employer.  There was never a dull moment in this job.  I saw the best and worst in people at times but we worked as a team and always gave it our all to help where we could.  I am no longer with the company but I stay in touch with almost everyone I worked with, and have kept many lasting friendships.

I have come a long way since I started my career with Bonnie Hoy.  She was tough but I found her to be fair.  I made some mistakes when I first started but she had this saying that if that's the worst thing that's happened today we're doing good.  When the time was right she helped me move on to a bigger and better job.  Now I'm a property manager for a great company that she introduced me to.  I will always be grateful.

Leasing agent, fulltime hours, with no communication as to what or when you’ll get paid. Management is only one person who is angry all the time, doesn’t take responsibility for anything, doesn’t treat employees with respect and/or dignity. Only uses people to get what she wants, underpaid employees with no preparation or proper training for the position. 

I worked for Bonnie Hoy  and I had a very positive experience. Bonnie gave me the opportunity to work in the week ends as during the weeks I went to school. She offered me the opportunity also to find a very good job in a great company.The schedule was very flexible. Thank you for the opportunity that you gave me. I was lucky to meet you!
