Being a supervisor, the management tend to believe that you can get all what needs to be done to keep them happy, in the time space that you are paid for, however this is rarely the case.

The people around you are all friendly and generally have a good sense of humour, which lends itself to giving good customer service to the B2B customers that Booker serve.

As a company, a few things need to be done to bring it up to date such as some of the systems and ensure that they keep long term costs down by perhaps spending more in the first place to make sure the job gets done properly.

I have worked in booker for 6 years ever since I left high school. It's an alright place to work but it's routine and that gets pretty depressing. The staff are amazing and full of banter which I think is important. I've always went for other roles within the branch just to mix things up and make it less of a routine but it's just like any other job out there, your never going to love it.

I have worked for the company for over a decade now and the transformation in the way staff are treated in fantastic! The group did a great job of looking after staff during the initial covid lockdowns and really has gone above and beyond ever since. The work is fast paced, hard physically during the peak trading times but very rewarding off the back of it.

I worked for Booker for over 10 years and was lucky enough to work with a lot of fantastic colleagues and managers in my time, many who I still class as friends now. Being part of the Tesco group has given great job security. No issues at all with the company and would happily work there again

The only way to get ahead with Booker is to be a brown noser. The management have a culture of passing the buck, they'll never own up to making mistakes, it's always someone elses fault. The equipment is outdated and contrary to what they say, they couldn't care less about your health and well being.

I have worked for bookers for the past 8 years and there are always opportunities to progress. The job also offers great benefits and bonus'.          

Great place to work, great staff and good pay. Overall interview process was very easy with a sit down conversation with the manager. Overtime was widely available.

COLD damp long hours but if  you keep your nose clean and work hard , it was a fair place of work . But if you made one mistake your out .

THIS IS ANOTHER PLACE THAT WENT OUT OF BUESSNESS THAT I MISS... THERE FOOD WAS AMAZING
