Imagine a soccer team where the coach keeps recruiting new players, puts them on the field without teaching them the rules, and then blames them when the team loses. That is the closest comparison I can make to my experience working here.

People are hired with big promises, but many are gone before they have a real chance to learn the job. Instead of building a team, the company seems to be constantly replacing one. When employees leave as quickly as they arrive, it is difficult to believe the problem is the players.

The company has very little structure. Important information is not shared properly, expectations change constantly, and employees are expected to perform at a high level without the tools, training, or support needed to succeed. It often feels like being handed a map after you’ve already been told you’re lost.

The culture is built on pressure rather than trust. People work long hours, are closely monitored, and are expected to solve problems that could have been prevented with better planning and leadership. Work-life balance is talked about far more than it is practiced.

The most surprising part was the leadership. I personally witnessed the CEO yelling at employees in the office. When the person steering the ship spends more time shouting at the crew than navigating, it should not be surprising when the ship struggles to stay on course.

What I saw was a workplace with high turnover, low morale, and very little investment in the people expected to drive the company’s success. During my tenure I hadn’t meet one person who had been employed within the organization for over 6 months. Great organizations understand that employees are assets to be developed. This organization often treated them as resources to be consumed and replaced.

If you are considering joining this company, ask thoughtful questions, speak with current and former employees, and do your homework. A company’s culture is easiest to evaluate by looking at how it treats people when things are not going well.

A typical day means scrambling to manage 18–20 clients with no proper systems, no onboarding, and unrealistic expectations to come in by 8am and stay late. I didn’t gain new skills—just survived burnout. Leadership lacks agency or marketing experience and misassigns roles, creating confusion and inefficiency. The culture sells itself as “kind and innovative,” but it’s hustle culture masked in fake positivity. The hardest part is the chaos and lack of direction. Nothing about this role was enjoyable—it’s more of a sales factory than a true marketing agency. This is not a “great place to work” despite the signs on the wall.

This is easily one of the worst workplaces I’ve experienced.

The company operates on a hire-and-fire model where employees are brought in and let go within days—sometimes even on the second day—without proper onboarding or a fair chance. There is no structure, no clarity, and no stability.

From the start, communication is poor and misleading. Internally, teams are disorganized, knowledge sharing is minimal, and expectations are completely unrealistic. You’re expected to handle a heavy workload immediately with little to no support.

Work culture is extremely toxic and fear-driven. Employees are overworked, micromanaged, and constantly under pressure. Work-life balance does not exist—long hours are the norm, and flexibility is practically non-existent, even in genuine situations.

There is a visible pattern of high attrition, low morale, and lack of respect for employees. Instead of building people, the environment breaks confidence.

Please, for your own sanity, run away from BoomerangFX! This is not a stable place to work, and the entire experience was beyond frustrating. They’ll hire you one day and fire you on the 4th day without any solid reason. The turnover here is extremely high, and it’s obvious why – no one stays long because the work culture is chaotic, and they don't seem to care about employees at all.

Do not make the mistake of leaving your current job to join BoomerangFX. The CEO and management will pressure you to work ridiculous hours with no guidance or support. It's all about short-term gains for them, and they don’t care about building a long-lasting team. There’s no job security, no employee development, and no sense of direction.

To make matters worse, the leadership is completely out of touch, and they expect miracles without giving any resources or tools to succeed. It’s a company filled with uncertainty, high turnover, and constant pressure. Save yourself the stress – don’t even consider joining this place!



My experience at Boomerang was disappointing. Leadership was highly micromanaging, training and onboarding were limited, and expectations were often unclear. This created a stressful environment where it was difficult to succeed or feel supported.

There was a noticeable lack of respect in how staff were treated, which negatively impacted morale and contributed to high turnover. Instead of constructive feedback and development, the culture felt reactive and unsupportive.

Boomerang has potential, but significant improvements in leadership approach, training, and overall workplace culture are needed to retain talent and build a healthier environment.

No management support ( most teams do not have managers ) 
This role is 100% in office just to monitor employees
All work can easily be done from home but, they have no hybrid or remote work options
Extremely unorganized ( scheduling, systems, and more ) 
You are expected to wear “ many hats “ 
You are expected to have a “ working lunch “ 
Expect to work even when you are sick 
The company presents as if they have been around for several years but they are actually a start up 


As with most people I was excited to start my job. That changed pretty quickly upon actually starting work and discovering how chaotic and disorganized the company was. 

Among other things, I found that:
- The product is a world class mess
- Work expectations and roles did not utilize my skillset. That is, I wasn't doing anything connected with what I was hired for.
- Work/life balance was nonexistent
- Turnover was frequent. Some turnover is expected in a startup. But this was constant.
- The CEO and CFO were only concerned about making themselves look good, often at the expense and sacrifice of others. This created a toxic environment that created a lot of distrust between departments.
- And the benefits plan is as bare bones as one can make it.


I was misled about the working hours — told the job was 9 to 5, but consistently expected to stay until 8 PM or later. I was also encouraged to give only a one-week notice to my previous employer, which could have seriously jeopardized my career had they not graciously taken me back.

The environment is highly inefficient, dominated by unnecessarily long meetings instead of letting skilled professionals do their jobs. Management lacks a basic understanding of modern marketing practices, yet insists on micromanaging every step.

This was, by far, the most frustrating and disappointing professional experience I’ve had in 10 years. If you value work-life balance, respect, or genuine marketing strategy, I recommend looking elsewhere.

I had a very negative experience with this company. They urgently hired me and requested that I start immediately, which led me to resign from my previous job. However, just one week after starting, they terminated my employment without giving me any explanation.

From the second day, I was assigned 10 accounts without any kind of training or onboarding process. Expectations were extremely unrealistic, and they demanded that employees work after hours without any proper support or appreciation.

The overall treatment of staff was disrespectful and unprofessional. There was no communication, no structure, and no regard for employee well-being. I would strongly advise others to think twice before joining this company.
