Everyone is nice & supportive. Boss is a great guy. Hours are generally good but can be busy at times. There were a couple months that were 10 to 12-hour days everyday, but that was around Christmas holidays and with COVID shortages so it was no one's fault, just the nature of a delivery job. Pay is great for the amount of actual physical work you do. Lotss of room for advancement. Great benefits and amount of vacation days. Customers are 97% contractors, so little chance of encountering a 'Karen.' If you get a job here you probably won't find anything better. 

Daily arguments between departments. Everyone blaming others for problems without looking at overall picture. 
Very stressful environment.
 Does not help that new management is never available unless they feel something is important. 
If you feel something is important to discuss, they are too busy. This causing extreme stress for  departments. Management only hear what they want to hear. 
Many knowledgeable staff left due to new management’s vision for the company. 
Not a friendly and happy environment that they try to portray. People (many long term employees) are afraid to lose their jobs by voicing concerns. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Working with my fellow co-workers also sales staff in plumbing and hvac department. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
My concerns not being addressed that would be my main focus

Busy,  great people you work along side everyday and customers I see 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Non stop answering questions fixing errors on my own addressing concerns from clients

If you are motivated there is definitely potential for movement. There is a culture of mentorship.  There is a lot of transparency from upper management. I've heard some say the opposite but that is likely because they are ignoring the email memos or not reading the employee message boards. The majority of the team has been with the company for 15+ years. Our VP has been with us for 40+ years, starting in the warehouse.
I highly recommend choosing a career with Boone.

Not a very health place to work. At first everyone pours on the charm, but two weeks in you start to hear the complaints. No training what-so-ever, all just about your numbers, and safety is an afterthought.

 Expect to always be told you are not performing good enough. There is zero discipline. Smokers get all the breaks.

Boone really cares about its employees. Set start times, OT after 40 hours, annual raise, profit sharing, 3 weeks vacation to start.. if you’re tired of working 14 hour days as a commercial driver, want consistent pay (they guarantee 40 hours per week) and value work life balance, this is the place to be. The route expectations are realistic, management is supportive and professional, we all get along like one big family! 

i would have to unload a truck and put away the merchandise i learned where the merchandise goes my boss was a very nice man my coworkers and i had fun laughing and enjoyed each others company the hardest part of the job was finding the correct places to put the merchandise and the most enjoyable was unloading the truck

Unless you are a family member of the management team, you can not climb up the ladder.

 The seasoned vets at the company get profit sharing bonuses. As such, many will push out anyone new that is an excellent worker, so their bonus is not lowered .

  Get ready to be criticized even if you have an excellent day. Nothing is ever good enough.

Hard to know especially drivers and manager they very racist they don't want anyone from anywhere to join them

Here j been working for 10 years in Canada never see experience like that 

Management is easy to work with and for. Clear path for upward mobility based on production. No weekend or stat holiday work. OT available but not required during peak season. Good benefits (dental, health, short term disability) and reasonable cost (50/50 split) and an enticing profit sharing program as well as RRSP matching and boot allowance.
