Getting paid

Mistreatment from specific management and a specific crew is outrageous. And the company allows it. This companies motto is were all a family is just bogus and not true. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They give little direction and expect you to know what you’re doing. Unclear expectations and lack of leadership. 

Hardest part about the job?
Working with people who are impatient, disrespectful and miserable. 

Most enjoyable part of the job?
Listening to tunes in your equipment you’ll need it to survive these people

I learned alot working for this company. But the mistreatment from specific management and a specific crew is outrageous. And the company allows it. This companies motto is were all a family is just bogus and not true. I would never work there again.

Having a forman who yells at you all day long over the radio.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stressful and aggregating. Makes u wanna pull your hair out.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I'm a rock truck driver. And if u do anything wrong in the slightest way even if your new u get yelled at.

Very supportive management, great communication at all levels and excellent team spirit. They offered training at all levels although it was to be taken during off-peak season, which is reasonable.

Management strongly believes in advancement and expansion. Work environment is vibrant, friendly and efficient.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Running D-11 was pretty cool but other then that there management was a vary poor team .

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Just showing up everyday to a useless foreman who didn’t no how to do his job at all .

Quiet unless the foreman decided to check up on you

Great company to work for , good wages and benefits. Management and supervision is great to deal with and always put safety first and treat everyone fair , if you like to go to work and do your job I highly recommend this company they also have great advancement opportunities

When a company has been in business for as long as Borger they must be doing something right. I have been in the industry for 28 years (18th year at Borger/Roadway) and they treat their employees better than anywhere else. Yes it’s a tough job, long days/hours but they compensate you well and always thank you for working so hard. It’s not an easy life working in this industry but it makes it better working for someone that appreciates you!

Every body are productive in every task given to repair,we are all having fun finishing their job on time and safety is for every bodies responsibility. Waiting parts is the hardest part of the job it delays the job.The most enjoyable part of the job is when the machine is working in its efficient power and no problem occured.

Understanding company, busy but as well appreciative of hard work and caring about your job good family environment, big as well as diverse projects to complete and work on

Enjoyed working with all levels of employees, upper management and field personal. They provided training for many of the software programs utilized in on a daily bases and provided additional classroom learning of new software programs.

I really like working for Borger. I feel I get treated fairly. If there is ever any problems I know I can trust the foreman to help me get it corrected. Borger has a great team of people. Everyone knows how to do their jobs and do it well.
