Let me start by saying that all the people that work at the store have created an amazing family style culture. The managers themselves outside of work have great personalities, are genuinely good people at heart, and care deeply about all their employees. 

Working here for the better part of two years, here are my honest observations. 

Micromanagement runs at the heart of the business, and it ultimately creates a toxic work environment where it often becomes difficult to even breathe without feeling like you’re being watched. Your personal style of selling and talent are overlooked/non-appreciated , and an inefficient, dated/old school selling style is forced down your throat. 

New styles that have never been tried or tested are invented by upper management that lack salesmanship at the very core. The fatal flaw in the management lies in the fact that there is a HUGE stress on getting to the end of the deal as quickly as possible… however this almost always comes at the cost of losing valuable gross profit. This ultimately hurts the store, thereby creating a vicious cycle. Causing upper management to apply more stress on the sales team, not realizing the irony/fatal flaw in their own processes that are causing more harm than good. 

However, instead of acknowledging that this selling style actually causes massive losses in gross profit, regardless of multiple examples from hundreds of previous deals - the upper management remains stubborn and refuses to acknowledge that their way isn’t the best way. 

Very quickly, due to an ineffective selling style - the expectations from the upper management become unreasonable… Causing extreme stress to trickle down to all employees, and create a less than ideal work environment.

If you don’t mind being micromanaged, and forced to do things a certain way - this place will genuinely be great for you due to all the amazing personalities in the building. However, if you are talented and need a place to shine and do your thing - this isn’t the place to work. 

If you're contemplating a job here, be prepared for disappointment.

I was drawn in by promises that the company invests in its employees. More than 3 new hires later, those promises ring hollow.

The most glaring issue is the distribution of phone leads, bizarrely managed by the receptionist. In my time here, not a single phone lead came my way, all while the receptionist channeled these valuable opportunities to their favored colleagues.

Furthermore, e-leads, a significant source of potential income, are hoarded by a single individual. It's a rigged game, and you're set up to lose from the start.

Management exacerbates these issues with their openly discriminatory and disrespectful behavior. Any semblance of a supportive work environment is shattered by their prejudices and unprofessional conduct.

Even basic resources like portal logins, business cards, and functional office furniture are withheld, making it abundantly clear that employee well-being and success is not a priority.

In summary, this job was a lesson in frustration, neglect, and systemic unfairness. Consider other opportunities unless you're willing to be set up for failure.

This dealership thinks only about it's concerns and not once about it's own staff "Unless they are part of Management, or close friends."

A typical day involves entry-level staff being forced to accept and complete unreasonable work-loads, as supervisory staff and managers will not listen to "ground-level concerns", that would make things much more efficient and fluidly accountable to all levels of work on site; of which all fall under a failure by management to transparently communicate.

**Hardest Parts**
Being criticized for not completing tasks, after being taken off tasks by managers; is unethical & unreasonable.
Having new employees sign paperwork agreeing to "No Over-Time pay" is against Provincial Employment Standard.
Being verbally attacked by management for arriving late, yet staying late to complete tasks is grossly unprofessional.
Wondering when you will be called by a manager, and spoken down to, for ATTEMPTING TO DO YOUR JOB.

I wish I could say something good about this place, but I can’t… 
The management / ownership at this dealership will make you miserable and the pay is horrible too. 
They love to bully and deceive and if they don’t like you, they will make your life miserable to try and persuade you into quitting. 
There is no room for improvement at this dealership, only being set up for failure.
Sales staff (even the best in the business) are run into the ground and punished by way of termination when things get slow and they can’t sell the cars that nobody wants. They overhire and continue to wonder why nobody can meet the monthly quota. 
Management picks and chooses favourites and anyone who isn’t in that bracket is treated horribly until they lose their sanity. 
Save yours and find a different place to work. 
Only plus side to this place is that there are some amazing staff who are wonderful to work with. Some I would even consider long term friends. Management / ownership I cannot say the same for though.

I worked for bow for 2 years and have never been more stressed in my life. When I started I was hired to do warranty admin and delivery coordinator. By the time I quit, I was doing internal ROs, managing all sublet work, taking website pictures, managing the offsite, submitting and disputing any and all warranty, every vehicle sold I would walk the customer through ensure they knew how to use their vehicle efficiently before leaving, pick up and drop off any vehicles that needed work we couldn’t do like windshields, all filing, and shuttle driving. Not including the random tires I would have to put In vehicles, windshield fluid top ups, detailing, lot organizing ect i would do to ensure problems were squashed. And not only barely got recognized it but was constantly promised more money that never actually came.

For the most part, Bow was a decent place to work. It was a great group of people overall and for the most part everyone was great to work with. There are a few people that consistently look for someone or something to focus on so they can target their negativity somewhere just because they do not like you. The select few that choose to make things difficult for whomever they’ve decided they don’t like for that day or month or longer have quite a negative  impact on  the the work environment for the people who are the target. 
Management isn’t overly supportive and if you aren’t one of their favourites then be careful because your time is limited. If they don’t like what you say even if it’s true then you are even less supported. 

With 10+ years of work in the automotive industry, I can confidently say that Bow Mitsubishi is a great dealership to work for. There is a great team of employee's who work well between departments. Management does a good job of training and encouraging growth in your career. Unlike other dealerships I have worked with, the work/life balance is great. This is a lower volume brand and with that comes less of a time crunch at least in my department which is nice. I can honestly say there is no "hardest part" of my job! 100% honest there. I enjoy coming to work and would recommend them as a company to work for. 

Do NOT Work here. Place is terrible atmospere. Management is a joke. They lie and manipulate. Very little concern for one not a manager. LIES and over selling.Service 100% lies to customers constantly so if you like sleeping at night do not work for here. Rarely do they pay what they say they will. And lastly if you value your worth this place is not where you will success. There is a reason why they can't keep employees. 

Don't apply here. If you like your life don't work in this company. I worked in the place for 6 years the old management was great but after the new management took over this place is going down the hill fast. They treat the employees and costumers very bad.

Management doesn’t care about you. They say something and then walk away and never come back. Talk to them about your problems. They shrug shoulders Basically and walk away. Nothing but lies coming out of their mouth. Want you to do multiple peoples jobs and not get any credit or more pay.
