Worked in office for over 18 mths, Lots of in fighting and back biting, not allowed to think or put plans in place and even when you do, other shifts come in and do what they want anyway then complain the plan was wrong without trying. Management treat people like animals and don't care drivers etc have families - THE JOB COMES FIRST! Not for me it doesn't. My 1st six months was a positive learning experience but the last year was awful. Drivers are spoken to like dirt and treated the same by most, office staff try to be helpful but would much rather you didn't disturb them. Management talked to you badly and seemed to take your ideas, keep them for a while then repackage them as their own at a later date and have their own agenda for moving up the ladder and didn't seem to care who they trod on. People who dont deserve but tell management everything tend to be favoured and promoted to positions other people deserve.

It’s ok at times, good money for what you do but it definitely takes its toll on your body as it’s hard graft. Unloading 600-900 items daily either using a sack truck to deliver or cages.  Poorly maintained trucks,  have to fix bits yourself some days to get the job done!.
 Average 10-12 hrs days, some guys are lucky start at 6 finish for 3 as they have other priorities, not fair on the other lads who get the 10-12hr days. Should be a rotation pattern through the drivers.
 Overtime available if your body can take the extra days graft. 
On the road out the way of a a factory is definitely a pro, some good customers most of them know how bad the company is so they don’t moan too much.

I don't think so it is something only paycheck for the job

you have to stay as long as the managers, you feel like you are doing work in a labor camp, equipment

you feel like you are in a labor camp or prison the manager stands with his hands in his pocket and only looks where you are going and how long you are gone. He is not interested in the equipment or if it is ok

Stressful and happiness you not have one motivation to do your jobs

Roughly finishing at 1-2 o'clock

Being micro managed all the time.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Quite clicky, though there are a few friendly people.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Ok , early start early finish.

Management are bullies, they have too much workload for that depot but yet they still look for more work. You start at 5 am and when you phone them at 5 pm saying, I've got 5 drops left what should I do? They say we need it done and then when you go back with 2 drops they give you a disciplinary. I'm glad I got away from there because it was making me feel ill in the end. I wouldn't recommend

Brakes have a unique way of running. Can seem beneficial at first but it’s their way or no way. Managers are treated more like supervisors/wardens rather than someone that could put in new positive idea. Long service staff are stuck in the ideal of when they first started 20 odd years ago unable to move forward with modern way of running 

All promises were not fulfilled 
not a safe secure job when quite
Management disorganised  
routes are bad as they are not planned correctly
The other drivers are nice and will help you only if their route is their usual

Most of their managers are selected with no background or experience to fit the role.  Racist, bully and manipulative environment. Old equipment and no care for workers.

High turn over of drivers. High pressure environment.
Lots of coast driving. Same amount of drops if your local! Some staff looked after more.
Trucks are old.

Excelent firm and friendly staff. Highly recomand.
I've got a chance to meet new people , customers and places.
Management staff were very nice and friendly, making the job easier.
