As a former employee of Brandt marketing team, I regret to say that the poor leadership displayed by the management team has created an unsupportive and unproductive work environment. Leadership consistently exhibits dismissive behavior, is unreliable, and has poor communication skills with team members.

Dismissive Behavior: There have been multiple instances where our leaders have dismissed concerns or ideas without providing constructive feedback or alternative solutions. This creates an atmosphere where employees feel undervalued and discouraged from contributing to the team's success. The leaders also have a tendency to interrupt team members during meetings, which is unproductive and disrespectful.

Unreliable: On numerous occasions, leadership has failed to deliver on commitments, meet deadlines, or honor scheduled meetings without rescheduling multiple times. This puts pressure on other team members who are forced to pick up the slack, causing delays in project completion. Additionally, the leaders have been absent from important meetings without notice, which leaves the team feeling unsupported and unimportant.

Poor Communication: Communication is a critical aspect of any successful work environment, but unfortunately, the leadership at Brandt has demonstrated poor communication skills. They often fail to respond to emails or messages promptly, causing delays and miscommunication. Moreover, their instructions and feedback are often vague, leading to misunderstandings and mistakes that could have been avoided with clearer communication.

These issues have created a toxic work environment that hinders employee success and growth. It is critical for leadership to set a positive example for the team and foster a healthy and productive work environment. However, the behavior of the leadership team at Brandt has had the opposite effect, negatively impacting the team's morale and productivity.

I would caution anyone considering employment at Brandt. The poor leadership, characterized by dismissive behavior, unreliability, and poor communication skills, makes it challenging for employees to succeed and grow. It is essential for the company to address these issues and create a supportive work environment that enables employees to thrive.

My experience with the Brandt Agriculture hiring process was disappointing. Despite the promises made during the interview, the offer letter I received did not align with the initial discussions. The compensation offered was lower than what was originally stated, and the benefits package had a significant waiting period, which seemed outdated given the current job market standards.

The offer letter lacked clarity, with no details provided on hourly pay, guaranteed weekly hours, or opportunities for advancement within the company. During the interview, I discussed the possibility of an apprenticeship, but the company seemed uninterested despite my interest.

Considering the Cervus takeover happened a while ago, I was wary about joining Brandt Agriculture due to all the reviews from present and past employees. After receiving the offer letter, I'm relieved I declined and found a job elsewhere that offered competitive compensation that was market standard while taking into account my previous experience, full benefits coverage within three months, and a supportive work environment that has a structure in place to grow new employees.

I hope this feedback helps others considering Brandt Agriculture to make informed decisions about their job search.

Working for Brandt has been disappointing to say the least. They expect you to bend over backwards and don’t compensate you for your efforts. They will preach they care and you “will” be compensated but it’s lip service. They are a trillion dollar company but when it comes time to stick to their word, they won’t financially compensate their employees for their endless hard work… which just shows their true colours. Not to mention Ownership loves to flaunt that he cares so much about the community through their endless sponsorships (which they even struggle paying their bills) and employees and yet everything is for a show and doesn’t fix the issues going on within the organization. He does not look after the staff that are working in the trenches day after day doing the hard work; just upper Managment making the “puppets” dance. This is a company wide feeling amongst the lower class workers that ownership and management refuse to look at because they believe the right people will be willing to do whatever it takes and if you aren’t then you aren’t their people. And they wonder why their turnover rate is so high. It’s sad really because they could really have something good if they just compensated ALL their workers for all their hard work. 

This company is based on 1 premise only: make money. Even if the money they make comes at the expense of their employees. You need to be very careful about working OT, this company interprets the compressed work week laws to suit their own agendas. Dont expect to be paid OT if you work on a day off if you have not yet accrued 168hrs in your compressed schedule. The emphasis is on safety(at least that's the word), yet ALOT of the tooling is homemade. Most of the local management are driven purely by ego and a bonus structure that sees corners being cut, borderline fraud being commited and purchasing parts from scrapyards to repair units. Highest labor rate in the world yet one of the lowest paying employers out there. The facilities are completely ridiculous and under equipped for the scope of work we partake in here. Training is pretty much non-existent if you're not buddies with the service manager. Attitudes by those who lead are well behind the times and more closely mirror attitudes from the 70's/80's. Alot of promises made and very very few kept. Benefits are very typical and on the low end of typical, the DCP pension plan is lacking but at least there is one. Generally none of the foremen really know what's going on or dont really care, managers are gone from the office alot. Raises rarely occur.

Absolutely the worst company I have worked for. I'm so happy to not have to show up to work for ungrateful, unappreciative people. This company could care less about you only how much money they can make, your just a number. Underpaid, zero appreciation, zero recognition for a job well done. Absolutely no gratitude from this company. Health benefits are on the lost scale according to Blue Cross insurance. Worked for this company for 3 years and not 1 raise or a performance review. If your lucky you might get 25 cents which to them is the cost of living increase which is an absolute insult. No organization, no tools, equipment constantly breaking down for weeks without being fixed. Your constantly walking around looking for tools. This creates a high stress environment as your constantly pushed to do more by upper management. And there is as much upper management as employees. I don't recommend anyone working for this company. Stay far away. You'll find out what I'm talking about if you choose to work for these people.

This company has a high turnover rate for a reason. The benefits are inadequate, the management staff are more focused on their bottom line than actually supporting the people they manage. 
The company constantly shows how much money they're making but refuses to let any of that profit reach the employees. "Thanks a billion!"
Local and corporate management constantly fighting with the workers caught in the crossfire.
Constantly micromanaging the employees to the point of injury and exhaustion. (Seriously, a lot of people end up on stress or injury leave).
Zero incentive to be better at your job but they will keep asking for more. 
Little to no raises.
If you want to work for a company that will ruin your work life as well as affect your personal life, all for a tiny bit higher wage than the competition, then go for it. But if you value your mental health and don't want to hate yourself every time you clock in, stay far away from these people and this company. It is NOT worth it.

The job itself is easy to pick up , fun to do and fulfilling to Finish a long day and look at everything you had accomplished. Most of the coworkers were friendly and fun to work with ( minus some unsavoury people who were just mad at the world and didn’t leave their feelings at the door). The true problem with Brandt as a company is the management. They say that their door is always open and they want to hear about how to make your job easier , but the second you bring anything to their attention about the job they simply say buck up , stay late , come in early if your having issues. They don’t care who does it , they just want it done and if you don’t find a way , you get in Trouble. The pay was fair and decent, but for a company that expects an hour or so of overtime a day to deal with poor organization skills , it’s not worth the hassle. 

A typical day at work starts with gathering data, issues encountered by operations staff and proactively create a solution into it.

I learned a lot about the culture and in dealing with different kinds of people, and further enhanced creative problem solving and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.

I enjoyed working with my co-workers and learn from them as well.

The hardest part of the job is to introduce new manufacturing strategies, documentations and developing standard operating procedures (SOP) from middle management, to top and staff members without the needed support extended.

I mostly enjoyed when new operations strategies or projects are created, implemented and made a positive contribution to the company.

I worked in the finance department and it was not a good environment to be in. 
Cons:
- Tensions are high from management which are let out of staff beneath them
- so much turnover in finance, with little hiring to replace vacant positions. With a growing company, Brandt should be increasing staff, not decreasing staff. I was doing three jobs (accounting clerk, assistant controller and controller) before I quit. 
-Brandt is reactive (at best) and never proactive. They only makes changes months after the fact (such as hiring)
- long hours with no compensation (easy 50+ work weeks all year long) 
-little to no training and no support from management 
- when you take vacation, no one is cross trained so you’ll most likely be required to work extra hours to get caught up before/after vacation. And remember, no compensation for extra hours worked. 

Pro:
Salary was slightly above average on paper, but way below average based on actual hours worked, stress and duties.

Great company overall, very much enjoyed most people I worked alongside from other reps to the team in finance and A/R. enjoyed the challenge of learning a new industry, selling construction equipment and attachments. Struggled a little with sales manager as he was very new to his position and had long term relationships with other reps so he seemed to manage his time poorly among all of the reps rather than the 2-3 he had worked with for past few years. Hardest part of my job was the long days and nights as I was expected to be in restaurants and lounges with customers every night I was on the road which made for very long days and nights. Most enjoyable part of the job was being allowed to spend so much time creating relationships with my customer base.
