Typical day at work includes serving customers , getting their case of beer, accepting their payment, taking back customers empty bottles and handing them their deposit return, general cleaning duties, very physical job, always busy and on the go.  Management could be better, never around especially when needed, a lot of pressure put on full time staff because of managemnet absence.  Employees are usually great to work with, hardest part of the job is dealing with empty returns, most enjoyable part of job is the end of your shift.

Day usually starts very early
Set up monies for day, set up loads ..in and out, load cooler for customers
Balance stove..empties, full side
Customer service is very HIGH !!!
Management is very good to your individual wants and needs
Co workers are the best !
Hardest part of job is to get the tasks set forth for that particular day because  I did not want to leave my JOB to someone else the next day ....they have their own set of tasks to do

You did something different everyday. You were either on the truck as a helper going and making stops or you were in the warehouse making the orders for the next day and sorting whatever came back from the run during the day. I learned a lot of skills from power hand jacks to operating the forklift. The management and co-workers were awesome to work with and for, everyone got along very nicely. The hardest part of the job was getting in and out of small space with large loads and the most enjoyable part of the job was the people that you worked with.

The staff at the beer store are incredible, super friendly and are willing to do anything for you. The hardest part of the job as a new employee was getting used to running the cash, and having to know where all the beers are located on the system. The entire shift is enjoyable because I enjoy being around the people I work with. They make you want to come in and work. I've learned so much in just a short amount of time, I close the store alone, I know how to open and close the store, ship and receive truck loads.

•	Operate cash register including receiving money and debit transactions.
•	Receive and unload liquor delivery trucks using pallet truck.
•	Unload pallets and place stock in appropriate warehouse locations.
•	Access computer terminal to provide reports, balances cash to register total.
•	Perform maintenance duties such as dusting, sweeping and cleaning up broken glass.
•	Inventory shelf stock and reconcile against computer information to identify loss of stock due to shoplifting or other causes.

the job its self is fairly straight forward as a CSR with receiving empties and put them away. some stock work is done when it is quiet. Management and its work place culture is not very good with union and contract rules if your availability is less than 100% Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday no matter how hard you work or how dedicated you are you get "shafted" out of hours by co- workers who are

Lots to do and constantly on the go, always something you can be doing. A lot of repetitive bending and lifting. 
Learned confidence in interacting with customers even when uncomfortable.

I wanted to work here because I heard great things about it, such as the pay was good.....this may have been true years ago but I was disheartened to find out they start at minimum wage. Very inside politics, keep you at part time status with full time hours. Disappointing experience.

Excellent place to learn new skills. Pays well. Great union. Poorly managed. Dangerous environment however they are improving. Good job for students, but not somewhere to make a career.

A dynamic work environment with a great team headed by a competent manager. I learned how to really multitask problem solve customer questions and quickly diffuse tense situations.
