The cash out spreadsheet wasn't working and they didn't even know how to do a manual cash out.  Completely incompetent FoH Managers.  Not only that, but they kept my TIPS from that day ($80)

Servers constantly walking behind the bar getting in the way, and you couldn't say anything without someone getting offended. Terrible work place culture.

The tips made while behind bar are incredibly low. The server tip out is 1% to bar, not the standard 2%, and the bar tips 3% during the day if you take tables and 1% if you don't. But this doesn't make up for the incredibly low tips made here.

Training was a joke as well, had maybe 6 hrs before left alone. Sink or swim as they say.

I wouldn't recommend wasting your time here. They have 2 long term bartenders that get the shifts they want. You'll just be a filler with a trash schedule picking up whatever the other 2 don't want.

This location specifically is bleeding money at the bar. So many free drinks given away by bartenders, and beer wasted on inexperienced pours it would make your head spin.

A typical day for me at work involves talking to our customers, make sure I can grab them what they need, when they need it. Insure we give the best possible customer service. By being able to get make sure my customers are happy makes this job enjoyable. Serving teaches you a lot about people, it teaches you how to react in difficult situations and how to react in the positive as well. Giving you the social experience to take anywhere with you.

Typical day was preparing and cooking food for customers. There I learned how to cook better than what I knew before. Management was good and the manager was a nice person to get to know. My co-workers were great to work with, they were funny and nice. Hardest part was cooking all of the orders right during lunch rush and supper rush. The most enjoyable part was working in a fun environment.

They weirdly base the amount/quality of shifts on beer-to-go. A lot of people who didn't sell enough per week would just buy some for themselves so they can have decent shifts scheduled.  

Quality of food isn't great, complaints happen often, and the sales (wings) drive really cheap people in and I never made great tips comparable to other places.

A typical day at work is coming in 15 minutes before my shift, checking my section and making sure its clean and tidy. Management is excellent and everyone is always in a good mood. Co-workers are always positive and friendly and always trying to help out. I love coming to work, everyone I work with makes my job enjoyable.

I've worked at Brewsters for 3 1/2 years now, and I love it. Sometimes customers can be frustrating, but with patience everything can be dealt with. I love my coworkers, my schedule can be moved around very flexibly (thank goodness for my scheduling manager), and getting shifts covered/covering shifts is very easy due to Ameego. Love it!

too many drugs at camp,Parties every night passed midnight, all the older staff left because of poor managers at the camp and Banff. Old buses but the smiles on the tourists faces when they see the ice is priceless.

promised hours to so many staff after summer 
promised full time positions
servers are struggling to get three shifts a week
have people working there that have been there forever that no longer complete their jobs satisfactorily.
