I have an excellent experience with my management, they respond quick on all inquiries, they provide the training and the support needed to do your job at the best possible way. 
My co-workers are the best co-workers I have ever had. They are always there when you need them at most.
The hardest part of this job is to be on duty in the evening and weekend, you have to be available 24/7 for tenants emergencies.
The most enjoyable part is when the tenant comes and thank you that you help him/her in the hardest moment of their life, or that you saved their life in emergency situation. 
And also there is a lots of fun moments with people asking for marriage advice or how to be noticed by a desire female :) or questions "why my home cordless phone that I am holding is not working while I am at the lobby area", when they live on 7th floor.
There is always something to laugh on :)

Briarlane does not treat their employees fairly. The place is a revolving door of staff. 

It is a good stepping stone to advance your career, but it is not a long term. They will work you to the bone and expect you to be available 24/7.  Hard work and loyalty does not mean much with this company. They expect way too much from their employees and underpay everyone.  The higher ups and management get kick backs from all their suppliers and contractors ultimately affecting their clients bottom lines/income. They hide information from their clients/building owners.  Good luck to you if you accept a position with this company! You will quickly see how disorganized the company is and how they offer no support or guidance to their staff. They also expect Building Manager couples (husband and wife) to work for $30k combined salary. It’s ridiculous! You get what you pay for Briarlane!!! Better pay = better quality employees

I have had work for Briarlane for 11 year as a front desk reception, I have loved and enjoyed every moment of my job,  and loved every and each person at Briarlane, from the moment I walked in I was welcomed by everyone, and everyone especially the management team was always helpful and always there for me to help if I needed any help anytime, I never hesitated to go the the any of the management team for help always generous in helping everyone.
Great team player the whole office, amazing people
I have had so many wonderful memories and have made so many wonderful friends that I will always cherish them for rest of my life.

Usual small maintenance team environment for the industry. You are lucky to work with a great team and unlucky to get to a team where some folks are not happy, lazy, or bad-mannered. Plenty of work every day including cleaning, maintenance, repairs and some office work. The schedule is pretty tough. Very few days off during the months. The compensation package is not adequate. Depending on the property environment might have could have plenty of night calls, and police and fire crew visits. Very little manager help for improvement. 

Management can micro manage you over littlest thing . Unpaid over worked. Tenants are losers and think they run you. Under-mind any decision you make and talk down to you like you are piece of dirt
And you have zero idea of what your doing. Policy are  out of date and unnecessary most of the time. Management will talk down to you and act like they know more then you. Even though they have zero idea whats goeing on in ur building and they are less education thaen you in general .

Management uaeless. Clueless as to what needs getting done asap over other stuff that can wait. No regard for there workers or there tenants. They tell tenants what ever they need to to get rid of them then never fallow through on what they promised. Will lie to your face throw  you under the bus never admit there wrong. They never do anything wrong its always someone else . Pathetic is all i can say and i worked for them 2 years.

Poor management. No dedication to the job or willingness to help.

Constant blame and unreal expectations 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic. And your constantly watching your back 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and no schedule.

Depending on who you have as your Senior Property Manager or Area Manager it can be very pleasant or a nightmare, one has to be 100%  in agreement with Management or you are treated as if you were the enemy.
Briarlane itself has a nice invironment to workplace. Always pays on time but they try to get the Property Manager to pay in advance and we have to wait a long period of time for a refund.

If you like working on your own and not someone standing over you this a great job. But there’s no security in this job at all. I worked there for 2 yrs and then they let me go saying they are revamping the company. Then 6 months later hire someone else for my job that the took away.
