There are some really great employees who work here but unfortunately senior management is toxic. If you come from a professional organization that has morals and standards you will be shocked at how employees are treated at Brikers. CEO wants nothing to do with running a business so they hire aggressive senior execs with little business experience to crack down on employees, thinking this is how businesses get built. There's a general mistrust of employees, if any minor thing goes wrong they need to blame someone for it. Turnover is extremely high. Either people quit once they realize the issues or they let good workers go because they have unreal expectations. Yet they pride themselves on how many employees they've hired each year (despite not growing much in size because of turnover). Management is truly oblivious to how other companies run due to lack of experience. Avoid this company if your position touches senior management in any way. 

Criminal record is not screened, allowing people who are less than decent people to be hired at this moment.
Employee's are often felt they are not valued 
Management issues through the command of chain are prevalent.
Individuals with drug issues are often hired, leading to problems with other employees.
Anything other than certain higher positions wage is quite frankly laughable.
Theirs talk about employee's being fired and hired, the longer you work the more apparent specific issues become unfortunately.

I get treated quite decent but than agian they value the numbers I bring in.

My advice to you young job seekers is, find yourself a reputable company.

Work day usually starts early and is fast paced. I was mentored by the finance manager, who I really got along with and respected. I worked alongside a couple more people on the finance team. Sometimes the company lags behind on tasks and assets are not organized the best, but during my time there, these areas improved significantly. Proper onboarding and training was not organized when I started, but got visibly better for new hires. Benefits changes also got better over time. They hired some much needed middle management to make sure less fell through the cracks. Friendly team to support you.

I have worked with Brikers for 6 years and have been pleased with the group we have. This company provides excessive opportunity to grow. Working for this growing business there is plenty of opportunity for personal growth as the company is eager to take on new challenges. This business still offers the "Small Business" feel where you can reach out and interact with management / president with the company and also offers the security of a "Big business". 20 years in business and never has had a layoff!

This is a great company to grow as an individual and as a professional.

I've been working at Brikers for almost two years now and it is a great employer. I have been treated well, supported, encouraged and energized to improve my professional development as well as work together with my colleagues to move the ball forward towards company growth. I have never worked with such a great management team that is ambitious, hard working but also knows how to make the work environment fun.

Good company to work for. A bit of a disconnect between sales and mechanics causes some friction with goals to grow and produce more. A few very skilled techs here to learn from and they are willing, which I appreciate. Lots of overtime opportunity. Frequently changing priorities in the shop can be a challenge, but management is trying to work out solutions and pretty attentive to technician needs.

I worked in the assembly department alongside three other people. I enjoyed working here. Everyone was always willing to help each other out. I was cross trained for the shipping department as well. Smaller team, so we jump in for each other. I would still be working there if I was not relocating for family.

Brikers provides ample opportunities for growth for those who demonstrate a willingness to develop themselves. The management team is respectful, approachable, and acknowledges that the company's success stems from the hard work of all departments, often showing appreciation through company lunches.

Overall, it's a great workplace with supportive and friendly colleagues.

Nice new facility, decent pay and benefits. They just started an rrsp matching. Young group and management. They were pretty flexible with a lot of time off I needed for personal life when I first started, appreciated their patience. I get to work on some pretty big teardowns. My department is an open building with cover.
