Great spot to work I enjoyed my time there was there for a year, I miss the staff everybody got along and helped each other out, The building is older and could use a few updates but overall it is it nice nursing home. All the staff in each department work very hard and makes it a great spot for the The folks that live there. When it was not COVID-19 it there was Lots of activities live music and trips out shopping. Hopefully when all this is over things will go back to normal

Broadview has some of the best psws. They keep that place running. I really enjoyed working with the day staff. They work really well as a team.
Some if the nurses arnt the best but they have the off ones that are extremely amazing.
Its poorly ran but management as I dont think any of them really know what they are doing. 
Be nice if they paid more as that's why I left was I got more money at a different home. It's hard work and those psws deserve every minnie pennie.
Overall it was a great place to work.

This is a very stressful place to work, poorly run by management.  Top management does not respect the staff as specially the PSW’s.  Most of the RN’s there should retire.  The atmosphere is not the greatest as you can feel the tension in the air.  There is a lot of paperwork to be done by the RN.  The PSW’s are overworked during their shift and everything is rushed.  There is a deinite line between RN, RPN and PSW and this is unfortunate as they are supposed to be a team.

Management is all very clicky and get away with quite a lot when it comes to the boss but if anyone else makes a mistake it’s the worst thing that has happened and you are yelled at in front of everyone and embarrassed for a little mistake. You don’t get paid enough for the things that you deal with. There is a lot of messed up things going on there. Residents not being treated correctly and being left to sit in urine for hours. Do not apply here or bring your loved ones here. 

High staff turnover due to staffing shortage and micromanagement. Many of the employees there are overworked and burnt out. Protocol is not properly followed and they get away with it by fixing documents. Mold throughout building. I love being a PSW, but it was very hard to find any kind of positive working there as you are forced to rush through residents and thus care is not done properly and there is little time for compassion. 

If I could give 0 stars I would. The Administrator is a narcissistic person who is clueless on how to run the home who is rude, entitled and unprofessional making it difficult to retain staff.  The staff is amazing but very unappreciated by upper management. Administrator has a do as I say not as I do attitude. The building needs a desperate update.  You couldn’t pay me enough to return.

Working in this facility is both an honour and pride but it's just because of the residents living here and the amazing staff that do above and beyond.  Management wise, if only I can rate it 0 out of 5 then I will surely do it, a nightmare indeed - doesn't even know how to run a facility. 

Head Management talks to employees poorly, calls them out in front of other employees, lacks professionalism. Staff are unhappy and moral is low, pay is low as well. Understaffed, people forced to work doubles and reprimanded if they don’t. 

Psw’s and Nurses are great, professional and actually care. management doesn’t care about any of the PSW’s and treats them very poorly. Calls people out in front of anyone. They have no clue how to run that place.

Challenging but caring environment. Management doesn't accept substandard care or work but is fair and cares.

Like anywhere there is a mix of good and not-so-good stuff, but most care and do a good job.
