As it says, this place is erratic and inconsistent at best. Managers play favourites and don't care for anything other than the amount of product they can shove out the door. Team leads don't care for anything other than impressing management and butt-kissing. If you think you can do better in a different department, don't bother asking your Manager for a department move, you won't receive it.

Training is an absolute joke. Assemblers receive a week of training before they are hung out to dry, wheelchair blueprints are out-of-date and are not updated by management teams. Many defects and errors in manufacturing through the welding and paint departments mean productivity is low even on good days. Employee turnover is high.

Long-term employees aren't afraid to give a hand if asked.

Praises sexually harassment with employees, management has no clue of what is going on on the floor or how to run a company. You deal with Americans for any topic including HR representatives. New employees are brought in on a higher wage then seasoned employees. Unsafe work conditions, will take on toll on you and  your family if work here. The general manager is a 2 faced liar that praises bad behaviour, the hard workers get the brunt of the lazy workers actions. When your sick and call it the management staff makes you feel guilty for calling in even though you get sick days... breaks are horrible, benefits are horrible, wages are horrible, and management is horrible... all around a horrible company to work for....

After 23years I was fired without a reason. Everything negative said here is true.  Having more experience then family members, I was constantly overlooked for promotions. My boss had less expierence but constantly drove the authority narrative. Instead of asking why. This is the narssaccitic sociopathic behavior that's always been at Broda. Even when you try your hardest to complete their tasks unsuccessfully to show them it cant be done. Their ignorance and inability to do an analysis of the task leaves employees feeling overwhelmed. The sad thing is prior to being promoted to management those in charge never had any real expierence. 

Stating that it is time for a co-worker to fail makes one pause to think. Not accomodating an adept employee due to health reasons is ironic methinks. Not aware of drug use during the shift? Really? That really was drawn out. Nepotism only damages moral. Knee-high pleather boots need be reserved for weekends and late nights. Well.. this here is a small picture of the landscape. You get it right?

No respect for employees that put in the o.t, don't miss any time and enjoyed the job they were doing. Being paid less than new employees, and passed over for monetary advancement while co workers with less time on the same job are given raises. 
   I'd rather be unemployed with pride and dignity than to subject myself to the whims of the  narcissistic management team at BRODA seating .

Not a mentally healthy environment.
Management plays favorites
Turn over is constant
Gossip is like high school
Rumors of drug and alcohol use in the work place
Work it self is some what ok
Welders are treated like garbage 
Only a yearly wage increase if you deserve it 
Was fired over performance, no training to fix issues or warning.

Working for Broda was the most rewarding job I have ever had. The product brought a quality of life improvement to people that needed it. I hope when I'm in a nursing home they know about Broda.

Broda seating is just a horrible wheelchair factory that pays employees barely above minimum wage and expect more and more each day.   Look else where for employment and you will be much happier 

While at Broda my job tasks included, welding components for custom wheelchairs, manufacturing components for assembly and prep work and preparing components for final assembly.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good hours friendly management and staff.
Easy work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress relaxing work environment with breaks and little insintives
