What is the best part of working at the company?
Working at Btrust is  very good experience. The team mates are like family. There's no segregation or racism. The pay is good and the work environment is blissful. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As a professional loss prevention officer, I don't see stress in prevention of loss on my duty post. It's part of my job.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is blissful. The Manager is always professional in dealing with staff members and always appreciate good work with thank you gestures. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
My typical day is taking my rounds, watching at checkout point to ensure customers don't forget to checkout and to see that cashiers didn't make an oversight in receiving payments.

My Big boss and shareholders knew nothing on computer system, they only said requirements, saw results and concerned how much funds had been invested in the project; my coding partner was proficient on programming, but he had a little knowledge in real business.
Finally, when  I saw the data flow went through portable device into the computer and was dispatched to different locations, I couldn't help  recall the few hundred days which I worked with them, patiently listened to the requirements form on-site perpetrators, disputed with coding partner for certain function and concluded an agreement, answered managements and shareholders various questions in presentation. 
A word popped into my mind to depict this work experience: pain and enjoyment!

This was my first job experience in Canada and I appreciate that they gave me an opportunity when I really needed work. However, the management was extremely disrespectful.
The CEO, often with his wife, would stand over us, speak rudely, and even insult employees by saying things like “Are you crazy?” 
There is no real job security here full shifts are rare, and even if you have them, you may be told not to come back the following week.
For people who speak Chinese, the environment might be easier, but for others it is very difficult.
There is no learning, no career growth, no good pay, and no respect. I would only recommend this place if you are in urgent financial need. Otherwise, invest your time in finding a better job.

I am a cashier, my main task is check out. However, if my market is not busy, I will go to do other stuff such as do the price, prepare vegetables and fruits. Sometimes, I will go to clean somewhere that is dirty even they do not ask me to do it. Almost employees are Chinese, but they still hire people from other countries such as Vietnam, or Philippine. Moreover, because this market is very busy in the weekend, we have to count the large amount of money up to around six or seven thousands. Everyone in this market helps each other, we are like a family.

A typical day at work involved standing and checking out groceries for customers for 3-4 hours at a time, with 30 minute lunch/dinner breaks. Have to learn as many food names as possible in Mandarin and English, as well as their code for the system being used there.

-the hardest part of the job is to be able to update the price changes effectively and efficiently on the database
-the most enjoyable part of the job is to be able to build my leadership and communication skills as an assistant manager

One of my first job, everything is great, from colleagues to managers. The only cons is the place is little bit dirty and old. After working for 2-3 months, you can ask the manager to change schedule so I would say flexible schedule

Salary and Benefits can be increased based on the amount of work at this company. Higher up can be difficult to deal with sometimes, support is not always offer throughout the project.

Minimal English was needed, crowded only on weekends. When I worked there, there was a very good manager. I don't know how it is now. Of the minuses, it was sometimes necessary to stay until closing of the store 

Decent management. Sometimes long hours and closing store duty. Average pay and some benefits like free meals and holiday presents. Staff and employee are ok to get along with.
