Not going to lie, this place was really nice until there were changes to management which completely changed my opinion. I was constantly disrespected by my boss not just in front of other employees, but in front of customers as well. I was always lectured on how to do my job properly instead of being taught how to even when I had more experience than my boss. Worst of all, don't expect your complaints to be taken seriously. When the entire staff took a stand against our new boss, we were told to cooperate as there was nothing they could do. Burger Factory Streetsville fosters a place of complete disrespect and mistreatment with virtually no place out other than quitting, which is what I did after working a mere 8 months. The benefits? Perhaps the only "decent" part...you could only get 1 free sandwich and unlimited free drinks as long as you were on your shift...after that? Dare you touch anything and you'll be warned about the strict guidelines of this "professional business."

For the time I was working it wasn't what I expected. A typical day consisted of me reaching to work 10 minutes before my shift started and put on my hair net and gloves to prepare the meat and toppings for the burgers. After prepping the burgers I would clean the table tops and ground of the restaurant. This would be repeated for the rest of the day until closing time, which is when I would clean the kitchen area with my co-workers, then go home. Management was very poor. The manager, also the franchisee of the restaurant would constantly take over everyone's job, and tell us to go do something else. This would cause the kitchen to be very hectic at times. When the manager wasn't there it was a very calm and fun scene in the kitchen. Everyone would get their jobs done on time and sometimes even help the cook out if he/she is feeling really busy and in need of help.

The management and co workers are very supportive with the new service staff.
There no such thing is easy  if you are not enjoying your job, determination  is one good thing not to feel the hardship of every jobs.
I did enjoy my jobs by learning new things and meeting new people , friends, family and satisfying your clients with the service i rendered.


A typical day at work involves multitasking, ensuring quality, and meeting deadlines. I've learned about efficiency, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. Management plays a crucial role in setting goals and providing support. Workplace culture emphasizes collaboration and dedication. The hardest part is managing peak hours and maintaining consistency. The most enjoyable part is seeing happy customers enjoying our delicious burgers.

A very fun place to work where other workers would treat you like family. During specific times it would become fast paced and you would have to work together to get through the rush. If you messes up then you would be yelled at but not in a bad way per say. The most enjoyable part would be spending time with people that you liked since they are all like able.

Working there is nice however extremely unorganized. Got my work schedule the night before only for 2-3 days then receive the next 2-3 days the night before.  Makes it hard to balance your life and classes. Also was working on average 65 hours every 2 weeks as part time during school

I really enjoyed the job at this restaurant. The overall atmosphere was also very pleasant. However, I do think that there could be some improvement in the training and communication of the kitchen staff allthough it is understandable of the multirole.

The owner pays his employees under the table,  only $11.50 a hour. He is never there.  He watches you all day on his camera. Only interested in hiring students that he can manipulate. Works you like a slave. Don't waste your time and energy here. Find a real job and work for a honest person that will see your worth.

I like to work in burger factory because of the job flexibility and the mutual respect between the employees. the employees can share any issues regarding the work to the manager which helps in avoiding conflicts and a peaceful work atmosphere.

I like Canada because it is a  safe I want to work for Canada  is my new country  I will do my best to help people in Canada I did 40 hours for my school but I did more than 80 hours to help the new people  come to Canada
