The doctor I was working for was awful, screamed at everyone and always threatening to fire us everytime anyone made a mistake either big or small. Poor management, poor salary, no possibility of advancement... Maybe it was only the Principal Investigator I was working for but it is my honest experience

There’s not much to be said about working at the CHUM. It’s a place with well defined tasks and your everyday routine is always the same. There is no place for growing though, since it is all controlled by the syndicates. 

For students the salary is good and work can be sometimes hard and there is no more additional time. 
The hardest part is you are standing long time and some boss are very complicated 

I am in the research institute. Great work environment, new facilities and buildings in a great locations. Friendly people and work colleagues! French and english speaking.

Fine place to work. Government job in public health care system so do not expect recognition for your work. Workload constantly increasing but not manpower.

Managers change your schedule whenever they want.

Nurses don’t seem to have a good relationship with doctors and doctors seem to have god complexes..

Management is terrible, asked to cut break time to do more work ( it was unpaid internship)

Coworkers were super nice and encouraging 

Job is not fulfilling
