CANYON CREEK

At the square one location , I was doing my coop for school and just on the first day I had already made friends. They don't bring you down in anyway, they always help you if you are stuck or just simply forgot something. The management actually care. Can't say anything about pay since it was for coop. All together it is a really good place to learn the life of the Hospitality industry. Just make sure you have a good amount of experience.

I've worked at canyon creek for over a year, I enjoyed everyone I worked with and how respectful everyone is to each other. Its a fast paced work environment but if you enjoy working in a restaurant you'd definitely love to work at Canyon. Managers are great with communication and very understanding towards their employees. Highly recommend working here!

The actual food it self is good the deserts are made fresh witch is usual not the case. I learned alot and met some good people. Unfortunately the politics are what ruin a potential great place to work. The management team is looking for yes men, not people with thoughts and ideas.

Typical franchised steakhouse.  Ratio of pre-preped(packaged) items to on site prep is roughly 50/50.  Management & coworkers are typical of a franchised restaurant.  Wages stink, minimum wage & not a penny more.  No chance for advancement.  No chance for a raise.  No benefits.  EVERYONE is part-time.

Canyon Creek is a smoothly ran restaurant loved everything about my time there. Management was awesome so were all the staff. hardest part of the job was resetting the store at the end of the night. the most enjoyable part was the culture and every person who came through the doors.

The workers are nice but everyone is super competitive and we are expected to treat customers like they could literally spit on us and we would have to just smile, management was not sufficient in training, and the whole restaurant's culture was very drama filled and gossipy.

This is my first bussing job, and so far the company and managers have been extremely accommodating with how new I am. Tip outs are great, especially at the downtown location, and the people who work there are great

If you really enjoy working in a restaurant, Canyon is a great place to start. Managers are nice to work with and could have a drink and talk about everything with them after work.

Fun environment, management is super nice and understanding of most situations. Biggest problems are job security as they don't get much business at Fairview location and tends to lead to limited job security.

the staff and the guests at canyon creek are higher quality people. this restaurant was amazing to work at i loved it at canyon. the opportunity for growing in the company was great
