This is a great company if you are looking to log some long hours and make some great money. Like any job, there are good and bad aspects. The day starts early, and the end of the day can be an unknown as emergencies can arise or the job itself entails spending long hours to complete. There are often out of town or province opportunities in CCTV work and another opportunity to make some great money. A DZ license is a great ticket to have. You will be responsible for truck inspections, site inspections, and to work safely.

What stroke me the most at Capital is you can really feel the fear the management has instilled in the mind of the workers. I've never seen a place where everybody and I do mean everybody is trying to pass responsibility to someone else, this field of work is filled with uncertainty and you have to make decision on a regular basis, but over there as a manager you get phone calls every time so they are sure they don't be hold up to their decision. 

Very bad atmosphere to work with.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing they terminated a hard working employee for not being able to travel due to family matters and expect there employees to give up there personal life for them 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
All of it broken trucks bad management 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic constent harassment by management and such 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and toxic and irrationally

Not a bad family run company but beware of:
1. Long hours. Most of the office employees work at least 50 hrs/week. Some are working 70+/hrs 
2. No sick days. 
3. Cameras are everywhere (Outside and Inside building including office) and checked often. Makes staff paranoid. 
4. No flex time or WFH options.  

Nice team to work with but many are scared. High turnover. 

Stable/steady work. 








Never mentioned any job dangers to there employees toxic styrene exposures psychosis following styrene exposures passing out and dangers they hid it all new safe guards and research needed toxic styrene psychosis passing out after exposure they are paying me my full toxic exposure injury pension they hide from there employees and fail to disclose job dangers

great company that is rapidly growing.  Lots of opportunities for those who want to work hard and advance.  Most of their trucks and equipment are less than 5 years old and all in good shape.  Strict safety for Confined Space activities and COR certified.  Fast paced and can seem a little disorganized at time and stressful at times but everyone seems to work as a team to get things done.

very dirty work, management tries to intimidate, payroll not very accurate have to keep track, poor communication, work in poor weather conditions, very little help if any with safety and health concerns, mechanics are good will help you out every time,

This place, like most in the industry ask that you work alot of hours during your shift. There were times I was working 15 hours a day. The people I worked with for the most part were very good. the odd straggler but that is everywhere. Made great money but barely saw the family and the out of town work made it even less.

Very busy company with lots of work. You get higher wages when your working on City of  Toronto contracts. Good benefit package, company paid training (even for a dz licence). Advancement.

The closest thing you are going to get to a city worker job. There was a fair amount of head shaking at some of the things that went on, but after a while you just kinda accept it because it's beyond your pay scale or comprehension.
