CAPREIT has been a great place to work if you wish to learn lots about property management and are able to keep up with the ever-changing daily challenges in regards to tenant complaints/requests, vendor scheduling and inspections, reporting and maintaining an efficiently clean and organized site. Hours are reasonably flexible as management is very understanding of schedule changes and days off. lots of opportunity for growth.

Working at Capreit was an awesome experience. The executive management have created an exemplary culture, and everyone is on board with it. My experience there was amazing. My director, manager and my colleagues made my onboarding very seamless, and helped in making me understand my role, and perform excellently. There is no discrimination, and everyone is willing to help Highly recommend working here.

Satisfactory work environment but, no advancement in career. Pay is low compared to others in the industry.
The promotions are not happening based on qualifications and experience.
No much recognition is available.
It was a competitive market and there were a lot of vacancies.
We overtook all in 6 months and started booking in advance 
But, there was no recognition from the Manager at all...

Was good at the beginning , then went downhill... BIG-TIME

A lot of back stabbing at the end

They no longer higher building management/ superintendent 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Wonderful at the beginning... But at the end was like night and day

Cons:
Occasionally end-users can become angry, frustrated, and uncooperative but that is a reflection of human nature and the nature of the job itself, not the the company.

We are like family and everyone supports each other.

It's all good stress , its fast and you got to keep moving.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is great we do team building outings ,team lunches and there is a lot of respect for one another.

It was a great company to work with. I was not happy with the pay. Left to better the prospects
I am a people person & loved the job..It was full time, monday to friday 9-5. Attended all immergencies at any time of the day. I had the skill set to working with people 7 keeping them happy, which was helpful in having offic staff & maintenance, to cooperate when needed.

I am a current employee and so far I am having the best experience. Love my coworkers, love top management. They always reward hard work and trust me they are observing. My coworkers make it more exciting.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working for Capreit.  It was a very busy and challenging job.  I learned alot particularly on SAP and Procurement.  The hardest part of the job was probably working mostly alone but the most enjoyable part was the appreciation I felt from the tenants and staff members.
