I absolutely love my job and work environment! The best reason to join our team, either as a student, or staff, is being around the amazing staff that we spend our days with. The team is absolutely wonderful, the benefits are great, and everyone is very understanding. There is room for growth and opportunities to thrive, and as a visual artist, they allow me to create event flyers for their campus! I could not ask for a better job! The directors, and head office employees absolutely know how to treat their employees as well and absolutely appreciate our work! Our campuses are not just work, work, work, but we also make holidays fun for staff and students as well! If you have a birthday coming up, our amazing administrator typically decorates your office, sends out a virtual birthday card to staff and students, etc. We have an employee who is due to have a baby so we put on a small, on site, baby shower for her as a surprise and had all staff from this campus attend! As an employee, we get salon benefits including hair cuts, and nails done for free (just leave a tip!), and amazing hair products at a discounted price! We get benefits and discounts if we wish to take a course through CBBC, and get a discounted price for our children if they too wish to take a course at CBBC! To be a student here at CBBC, you can finish any course in under 1-year, which is absolutely amazing in itself, as most courses would typically be 2 years etc. You are not missing out on anything with the shorter time-frame either, as they still teach the same topics and subjects, just at a faster pace! Our campuses in Sydney River and Jamieson Street are along the bus route for those who do not drive (I am a busser!) and there are also options for online classes! How awesome is that!?

It isn't often you find a job that you wake up and are excited to go to. As a graduate of CBBC I instantly felt a connection to the easy learning environment and knew that someday I wanted to help other students feel prepared for their career and gain the confidence to be the best that they can be. Each day I look forward to sharing my knowledge and interacting with such keen students. 

Management aids any concerns in a positive and timely manner and all staff are completely supportive. Any concern or question you have, there is not one person who would turn you away or not do their best to help you. Management is committed to creating a team environment and often goes out of the way for team building activities and helping each of us grow as educators.  

From the moment of orientation I felt at ease at CBBC. The welcoming atmosphere and support of fellow staff was much appreciated.
Having the opportunity to assist individuals with bettering their lives and passing on my knowledge has been a very rewarding experience.
This career also gives me the ability to have time with my family that I would not have had otherwise so my work life balance has been greatly improved.

I've been working for CBBC for 3+ years, and what keeps me there the most aside from the fair wage and great benefits, is the supportive staff. The management   - from my boss, to the head honcho - are all supportive, encouraging, and engaging. They really care about their people and nobody fall through the cracks. 

There is a real sense of community at CBBC. The faculty care about student success and the management is very supportive and consistent. Sometimes work can be stressful but we also have lots of fun. The team cares about each other.

The new (out of province) owner is NOT nice to work for.  It's all about getting the money from students, not a good quality employer.
The new campus manager is not easy to get along with and will tell you whatever you want to hear at the time and do something totally different. 

Very positive environment, wonderful ppl to be around, contagious! I would highly recommend this college to anyone that wants a full experience of program or trade that your looking forward taking

Salary isn't as competitive as other colleges in the area but still fair. 
Friendly work environment. Go above and beyond for their students. 
 

Very inviting group of managment, super soft spoken with ability to create change where needed. 
Material is provided, however you have the ability to "make it your own" based on your comfort level
