CCT Controls

Working for CCT was a terrible experience, management was arrogant and did not listen to the concerns of the workers. They were super cheap, and will try to cut corners anywhere they can. They will try to pass any extra expense on the employee. They are unorganized, disfunctional, and mismanaged. Getting any time off with these guys is impossible. They always try to ship there guys off to camp, if you don't comply they will sit you. They will try to make employees work in hazardous conditions. The overall moral of CCT is very low. Most employees that work there have little to no pride in their work. The overall culture is about scabing your work in and collecting a cheque.

This company was a pleasure to work with.  Most of the management team was positive and forward moving.  The company grew extremely fast and didn't lose focus.  While they grew, they employed over 200 people and they all seemed to be engaged and encouraged to do a job beyond client expectation.  With that encouragement, they were given the tools and resources to provide excellent customer service and relationships.

This was back in 2914, when times were good. But pay was decent, 18/hr to start.  Everyone was offered an apprenticeship at 3 months along with a raise. Summer camp out with families. BBQ's lunches or breakfast at safety meetings regularly
Almost everyone I used to work with is gone now, but I'm sure Blaine is still awesome to work for.

Production and installation of sand filter buildingd for the LNG well sites.

Wiring in accordance to Zone 1, Div 1 electrical code rules.

Enduring the extreem weather that come with living in FSJ. Cold winters and hot summers.

Rebuilding of actuators
Replacement & repair of valves, bubbler tubes, thermocouples & thermo wells, and flow sensors
Calibration & validation of pH analyzers, flow and level transmitters, leak detectors, and pressure/temperature/flow switches
Analysis of P & ID's
Troubleshooting of electrical wiring
Participation in safety meetings and training

Lots of work and a great crew of guys to work with when i was there. 
 Once the good managers left onto better things and we were stuck with a diffrent managment group, everything went downhill.

Local company expanded out across 3 provinces and performed quite well until the recent economic downturn exposed the fact that perhaps they had expanded too aggressively and too quickly.

Best thing aout the company is the co-workers
Most Enjoyabl part is a new worker is not push to finish the job super fast. Instead he is given time to get his hands on the things.

Man these guys know what they are doing. And they are friendly knowledgeable people with integrity. If you can work for these guys they are grate.

They Were a little unorganized but over a good company to work for.  Very friendly and had a very good work. the Quality was held to a high standard.
