Never liked working at a place so much. However, I think the owners think too much about money and not enough about the wellbeing of their employees. They have considered their other 2 locations more of a priority than here, which is upsetting to see. 

Middle management is incredible, and coworkers are a lot of fun. The job itself is rewarding and exciting, a new change of pace every day-- never a dull moment. 

5 hours of set up, being in-character in a fast-paced environment while carrying heavy trays, plus being a part of a show all night, with additional bussing duties at the end. It's a lot of work, and not everyone can do it, but it is fun.

The staff for the most part are nice people, but because management feels the need to gossip, the staff think it's okay. Work here if you want to walk in on your manager telling a group of your peers about how they hate the way you do things. The turn-over rate is crazy because shifts ate inconsistent and based on Seniority(10+ staff working there for 5 years or more) so you are only basically on call for when enough people are attending that they need more than that number of staff. The pay is minimum wage and the tips are split evenly. It is by far the most stressful serving job I've ever had and pay should be above minimum. Also, it is the only serving job you walk out on a Saturday night shift that was fairly busy with 40$ in tips.

I've definitely enjoyed my time at celebrations however I know that a lot of people have valid issues with it. It's both the most fun, interesting, and dramatic job I've ever had. Management have been difficult at some crucial times but have also been amazing others. All in all it's a mixed bag, and the environment can definitely get toxic if you're there quite often. Buts it's very flexible and a great side gig.

It’s a generally welcoming environment but the job itself is extremely stressful and not an easy everyone can do job. From the rush of things the pressure and the size of the theatre it’s hard to adjust at first. Shifts aren’t available easily (casual job only basically)  pay isn’t great, tips suck, and management isn’t professional sometimes. If you handle stress well, love theatre and acting and have good strength and balance to serve  work here 

Celebrations Dinner Theatre is a good place to work at, for myself it is a bit stressful. Management is pretty good; it is alot of standing which puts alot of pressure on my back. Customers can be rude sometimes. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting tips at the end of the night because I put my tip money into a account that can pay back my school loan.

It is (or at least was) a fun working environment. They are hard working but also know how to have fun. It is a dinner theatre after all. Most staff know how to properly do their jobs while others would slack off as much as possible. 

I've never been so in love with a job. I miss working here so much and regret leaving (even though i was moving and didnt have a choice). The management was amazing, coworkers were welcoming and it was just so much fun. I'd honestly move back to Winnipeg just so I could work there again. I love this place.

Working at Celebrations is a typical office job, with a twist of fun! Working in a dinner theatre atmosphere provides lots of different people to meet and interact with. I enjoy working here!
