Training at this company is very poor, I learned that you are a disposable employee who fills a seat so they can collect a paycheck from the client.
The only thing that made coming in to work there every day fun, was my immediate teammates. This company is a third party IT solutions services provider, amongst other services, so there is very little job security and in the 22 months I worked here I never received a raise, not even a cost of living increase, neither did two of my co-workers. Was laid off and walked out of the building immediately, not for performance but because of "the client changes requirements", didn't attempt to re-purpose me somewhere else inside the company. Executive Leader was overheard saying" It's not about what makes you happy, it's about what makes me happy".....find a better place to hang your hat. I could say more but you get the idea.

During my onboarding, I asked questions to ensure I met their standards and expectations. There was a lack of response. I understand companies are busy but if they expect their new hires to know what they want, they need to respond.

I have no problem exploring and researching but at the end of the day, I need to know if what I'm producing is meeting expectations. Every organization is different.  Until I get to know them, I need for them to tell me if I'm on the track they want.

They were nice when they did, but that did not help me to perform my excellent skills in my role.

I've been at CGS for a year and a half. It's amazing how much the company has grown over the years (and even just as I started here), especially given the climate in Saint John and New Brunswick in general. The company is constantly looking for ways to grow and become more efficient, which is refreshing as it would be very easy for both staff and management to rest on their laurels based on the success the business has had thus far.

Smart, creative people who work hard and create value will do well here.

CGS is a great company to work for with opportunity for advancement; recognition for work well done and a great team environment.  I've been an employee since May 2006; I actually left for a short period of time and ended up back at CGS.  Sometimes you need to experience employment elsewhere to appreciate what you had.

You can see the way certain staff are treated / talked down to. You are "salaried" but clock in hourly. Expected at times for more than a 40 hour week. If you miss time its deducted from your pay ( outside of vacation time) 

Always felt like what you do was never enough and underpaid for what is expected.

Great People and family orientated company. Owner cares about his employees.
Good pay, great hours. Company that wants you to succeed and advance.  
They do lots for there employees, they have a social hour on Fridays for employees.
Do lots for local charities

Decent pay with good benefits, management was open to all concerns and accommodating to the needs of each employee. medical insurance is good as well as PTO's . the work is manageable its very hard for anybody who doesn't have experience as long as you are willing to learn.

This company has a way of challenging and building up employees who want to grow as a professional. I have never worked in a more rewarding, constructive and empowering environment. I wouldn't leave this job for any amount more money. 

I love my job.

I found the environment relaxed  but stiff.  There is a general attitude of assiduousness among the staff   and  certain attitudes   with  the management level

Constantly feeling tension.. no actual training.   Micromanagement.. bosses talking negatively about others..
No chance for movement because it feels male dominant
