Creating your own schedule with exceptions to requirements (1 weekend out of 2). Good team support in most units and resources. Choosing a unit you prefer to be stabilized in.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Crisis situations which create high stress, sense of urgency at times. Need to be able to apply a good limit in the unit and be cohesive with your colleagues

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Diverse backgrounds, enjoyable team work. Sense of belonging and importance

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A lot of movement, activities with the youth, planning, filling out required documents, spending quality time with the youth. Interventions on youth to maintain the rules of the unit and at times applying necessary measures

When I starting working there in 1992, a typical day at work was not the when I left.  For the first 20 years, I loved my job, appreciated my co-workers, had big and exciting challenges, had the opportunity to travel throughout the province of Québec to meet and train administrative employes concerning the billing application we used.  Towards the last years, there was a lot of staff turnovers and kept training new employees all the time.  The challenges were not the same.

Shifts were badly managed but when they I had it was nice. Work ambiance was really good and the best part of working in this company was that the salary was amazing

Really Great experience. I really loved my colleagues and there wasn’t any problem. The pay is kinda normal for that type of job. I didn’t complain about anything.
