The money you make is better than average. Day to day work is straightforward. However, there is a lot of bureaucracy that can prevent things from running smoothly. You're knowledge and experience is often not considered important when management makes decisions. New ideas are overlooked if you are not high enough on the totem pole. Safety is a high priority. Layoffs are frequent and they go mostly by seniority and not performance or knowledge despite not being a union workplace. 

They have regular layoffs, management has unattainable and frustrating requirement on employees to make 12 suggestions to better the workplace. These have to save money. They are never implemented and it’s stressful cause they bring it up in your reviews. You are also responsible for a lot of WCM stuff that usually takes a lot of time and is never implemented. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Thay paid good. That time. Don't know now. But you are pushed to work faster and faster.

We were pushed to work faster and faster.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Can't tell that. 4 months was there only.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy shifts - usual day for line assembling.

You have to be a "brown nose" to get far. Imagine having no skill or other qualification getting a job that your brother-in-law  made for you, while the more skilled employees gets laid off. Beside the nepotism and favoritism CNH is a great place to work , just have to know how to play the game. I wish upper management would do something about the nepotism culture. Sometimes it's who you know and not what you know that matters,which is sad. 

It's an excellent company with very good work culture.

It was always a pleasure to work with CNH. They respect all individual, pay package is good, work life balance is maintained, no hectic work schedule.

Always pushing to get more work out of people in less time

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Not enjoyable. Safty is "important" un less its to expensive.

Very good workplace to have career at. Fun working environment, employees are listened very carefully by management. They understand family values. They have special events organized every year for employees' family to visit the plant and have fun activities for their kids like face painting and ice-cream/cookies for kids.

There is no job security; you will likely get laid off sooner or later if you don't have 25 years with the company. Even then, you might be let go if your manager dislikes you or if you point out bad welds or problems.

Toxic work environment. HR is useless. Some supervisors are only working for their self interests and will stab anybody if it helps themselves. Years of service means nothing here. As the new generation of supervisors and managers feel they are the smartest ppl alive. Would not recommend this workplace
