Not going to lie but the money is good if you like working all the hours in a 24 hour. Management can do a lot better in communication and organisation. The company CORSERV needs to update its way if technology and ways of working. Face fit attitude will get you fat but they really need to stop as to many mid management don’t really have a clue. If you like to use your own mind then this is not the place for you. They will say about work home life balance but this is only for office staff if you are an operative on the ground then you have no home life. I have also seen people been used and then sacked because of poor management dissension. Only thing that matters is making sure the department makes money. So if you are happy just to be a number and shut up  do what you we told and work all hours and get sent all over the southwest or make your face fit then this is the place be. 

The service offers high standard person-centred care to their service users. By far, the best care service provider in Cornwall that I have worked for. I would never consider working for a private care home or agency after having this job. A company that cares for their clients and looks after their staff. They have great trainings in place and plenty of support given to new employees, plenty of shadowing, great team in the office, very effective when dealing with queries. Is a very professional work environment but also very friendly, supportive, good team management, good communication in the team. Service users are lovely, couldn’t ask for a better job. I highly recommend it, community care is amazing. 


Mismanaged from the top with a lot of deadwood blocking potential efficiencies that could be made and also ways of improving the housing stock.
The tenants were always right even when they were wrong about things and support from above was woeful.
Needs to have a long look at operations and not always chase the "Green/eco" way forwards as the quality of the housing stock makes the cost probative for tenant and company alike.
Support the engineer's idea's and nurture them as they will deliver above expectations if they feel valued team members

Management within the business ae extremely transparent and encourage learning as much as possible and give you all the right tools to develop - Marshall as a group offer some fantastic training in order to help develop you skills.

never had a job where people are scared about speaking up about safty i was made to drive a piece of plant that i was not traind on and was sacked for incompedence when i had a misshape with it

A few areas resistant to change. Always busy , great people, fair pay. Never had issues with pay, holiday, sickness etc. as with most things you get out what you put in. 

Good company lots of work in different fields road side work to environmental work including big projects around cornwall looking after various contracts and maintaining cornwall Roads

Cormac are excellent at giving their employees a chance to gain qualifications. Progressing can be good for the right person but also can be tough to advance in certain areas

No support, no communication, unfair pay, poor management, Only good thing work life balance and no weekends. Nothing else good about the company. Different job role to what you applied for.

Enjoyable caring , thoughtful . Helpful would recommend . Fast paced . Room for providing training and great leadership.  Nice atmosphere and enjoy able
