COUNTRY STYLE

I loved my job here. A typical day at work involved showing up for work before 6am, and opening the store with my coworker. Opening required stocking the refrigerators, the shelves, stocking the deli, baking and maintenance. Throughout the day we would be required to work fast paced to ensure the customers would get their order in a very reasonable amount of time. Eventually it got to the point where I memorized a lot of customers orders and had them ready when they walked up to the counter! Management were very reasonable but of course strict, and rightfully so. My coworkers and I got along very well and made the perfect team. We got to know how each person worked so we could work together and help each other out. The hardest part of the job would definitely have to be dealing with an unsatisfied customer, but it becomes easier the more comfortable you get with the job and with proper tips on how to deal with this kind of a situation. The most enjoyable part of the job was getting to know the customers, seeing them happy, and working with my coworkers.

Working for country style was slow, and sometimes very boring. A day would start with cleaning the coffee machines, and stocking every thing up, as well as serving customers. On the afternoon shift there would be two of us so we would take turns prepping the deli. Management wasn't the greatest, as he was the owner too. I would stay late numerous times because they were short on the other shift, and I never got paid for the hours I stayed extra. The hardest part of the job was how slow it got, I am used to a fast working environment so it was very hard for me to watch the clock because it was never busy. The enjoyable part at country style was the co workers that I worked with! They made the day so much better.

A typical day at work was; Catering and taking care of customers. Working behind the counter. I was responsible for stocking, prep work. Counting the tills at the end of the day and cleaning

What I learned; Work as a team member as well as independently. Taking in inventory. Stock,basic prep work. The importance of health and safety in to work place and Opening and closing the tills in the afternoon and at 
the end of the night upon closing

Hardest part of the job: Nothing 

Best part of the job: Greeting and engaging with  the customers, because it meant I always get to meet new faces and  working alongside my fellow co-workers.

When I originally was hired on at Country Style, the management was different. I got better hours, and the people were more understanding and relaxed. When the new management came, suddenly we had too many employees, and suddenly, no one was getting any hours. Those who were hired on as full time were getting sixteen hours a week. Those who were hired on as part time, such as myself, were only getting up to four hours a week, which was very frustrating. The easiest part of the job was remembering all the orders. The hardest was putting up with all the drama, and trying to speak to management.

The hours did not fit my needs which is why I am planning on leaving as soon as I find another job. I learned that the work force was a hard place but I am willing to try again and put all of my effort into creating a better work environment for myself. The management was fantastic, very nice people. They are like family to me but the job is just not for me. The hardest part of the job was trying to adapt to the hours I was getting. The most enjoyable part was working with my co-workers and having daily conversations with the regulars.

Go in a help serve customers with their drinks and food, clean up the store, sweep and mop floors, change garbages. learned to manage my time wisely, being the only person to work for 7 hours, you made your own schedule on how long everything will take to complete. The managers are nice people, respectful and responsible. When I worked with someone else it went good, work together as a team. Hardest part of the job is getting all the orders correct as they come in, and the most enjoyable part is seeing everyone that comes in, happy and have a smile on for you.

Country Style provided me with a fantastic work experience, taught me many resourceful tasks and really contributed to making into the devoted and responsible individual I am today.   

A typical day at work included taking customers orders. The workplace culture was very diverse and welcoming. Personally, I feel the hardest part of the job was keeping a clean environment at all time while customer let their left overs all over the place. The most enjoyable part of the job was greeting and encountering all types of customers.

Meeting people that were usually travelling, seeing a diverse culture. I learnt how to work the cashier machine, use the coffee machine, how to handle situations with the customers. My co-workers and i had an amazing relationship, we were able to work together and understand one another. The hardest part of the job was to clean up at the end of the day. Most enjoyable part of the day was meeting new people and having conversations with them. Seeing others smile made me smile too.

brewed coffee, restocked food,beverages and baked goods, took out garbage, served customers both in store and via drive through, also clerked in convenience store attached , balanced cash, swept and washed floors daily, washed dishes.  hardest part of job was taking out trash. best part of job was meeting customers and knowing they were satisfied.

A typical day at work would include preparing the coffee and organizing the bakery, and assigning tasks to my fellow employees. What I have learnt during this job are management skills, responsibility for others, and efficiently completing tasks. As Assistant Manager I worked closely with my manager as we got along and helped delicate tasks such as creating a schedule and completing the necessary orders.
