Working at CSN Collision has been a very rewarding experience for me both professionally and personally. In my role as an Executive Assistant, I have had the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that has strengthened my organizational, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills significantly.

The company provides exposure to many aspects of operations, executive support, project coordination, and stakeholder management, which has helped me grow professionally. I have particularly appreciated the collaborative work environment and the opportunity to support leadership while interacting with different teams across the organization.

One thing I value most about CSN Collision is the level of responsibility and trust given to employees. The role constantly challenges you to think proactively, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail, all of which have contributed positively to my career development.

Overall, it has been a great learning experience, and I am grateful for the professional growth and experience I have gained during my time with the company.


What is the best part of working at the company?
Job security  in a organized environment  , also a decent rate of pay , I was sent on courses which also contributed to my own personal development.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You will be held accountable for everything you do , and if there is a bonus scheme it will be difficult to hit the target, especially when you need the whole team to produce.

Quality and reliability are key.

Hit the ground running and strive for excellence.

My experience in this department was challenging due to concerns with leadership and overall workplace culture. I found the environment to be quite tense and hostile at times, which made it difficult to feel fully supported. There also appeared to be inconsistencies in expectations around work-life balance between staff and management.  Lower-level people could not leave early, but the director could leave early every week.  No one has stayed more than six months in this department. There is a lack of leadership within this department.  Additionally, there was a strong sense of oversight that could feel excessive. 

Worked for 2 csn shop in Ontario for 10 years ,they were great. Moved to Alberta got in with csn again ,I was thrilled.
Was there 3 months hired another person to the prep team without discussion (wasn't enough work for 3 refinish staff) ate into our pooled hours and we also had to train the individual as well with 0 perks. Went through the chain on command about my complaints. My store  manager cared but her boss would hear nothing of it.  Upper management is all about corporate greed and they don't care about the individual.  HR is for the emplyer not the employee. Didn't bother for us as well.
I would never work for another lift shop again .

Personality  clash with supervisor who gets upset over everything

Great!!! Management  has involvement  in all aspects and checks in to see how things are going on a regular daily basis

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy  and steady paced to keep on track with work load

Detailing is an entry level job and you’ll learn so much about it. Depending on what location you work at and what day of the week it is you can be really busy or really slow. Everyone is pretty laid back, some of those in management are interesting to deal with, to say the least. They have monthly shop lunches which is really nice. 

Management only cares about themselves and profits. They be sure to tell you that your not working hard enough while they walk around doing nothing and taking phone calls with family. Everyone is unhappy but hey heres a pizza party amd the bonus we have is unreachable so good luck. The only way to move up the ladder is get on your knees and...

Helping clients with their damaged vehicles. Providing good customer service as being most often the first one to talk to people who just got into an accident.  Setting up their claims with insurance companies, setting up rental vehicles and update the client regarding the condition of their car while being repaired, about the extension of damage.

This place has amazing people all over to work for. They are understanding and helpful, everyone is friends there I never had an issue at this job. If there was ever a problem just talk it out with the managers or owner and we would all figure it out as a team. 

Good place to work. Management are the best! The only problem is their mechanic (foreman). Their mechanic is not easy to get along with. He has a bad attitude and if he doesn’t like you, he will will try to ruin your reputation. Thus, the only problem in this company is having to work with the mechanic foreman.
