 The environment is very fast paced, which keeps the work exciting and engaging every day. There is always something new happening, so the role never feels repetitive. 
My colleagues were incredibly smart, talented. 
The workload could be demanding at times, but it helped build resilience and sharpen problem-solving abilities. Overall, CTV is a great place for people who enjoy dynamic work, thrive under pressure, and want to work alongside knowledgeable and driven professionals in the media industry.



The people and work at CTV are second to none and make going into work enjoyable. CTV is owned by Bell. The broadcast industry is facing serious challenges and Bell (like all media companies) is struggling to face them. Constant layoffs have had a detrimental effect on the moral of employees.

As there is realistically no longer a local Community Television presence.  Everything has transitioned to operations in Toronto.  

It would be impossible to judge the change in the work environment in 15 years since I left the broadcasting industry to start our own businesses.

The people are great and the company is amazing to work for. Every day is different and challenging in the TV world. My coworkers are great and everyone communicates effectively to get the job done as one big team; in my opinion its very important to have such a strong team-this makes a huge difference in your work day.

I really enjoyed working at CTV Bell Media, everyday was different. I learned to work well with a big group of people with different personalities. My co-worker were always their for each other. Everyone helped out at busy times. The hardest part of the job was leaving it. I enjoyed every day.

Classic definition of a toxic workplace. Management is accustomed to harrassing junior employees based mainly on their socioeconomic status. No one cares for the company. It's all about fake smiles, fake people and a pay cheque to take home.

during my time, I was involved with 7 different events throughout the city to engage with many of the CTV stakeholders.  It was a way to not only enjoy some of the great events that happen over the summer months, but to meet and work with some great people.

Different work environment to the previous organization they acquired, CHUM Limited.
Much more of a corporate structure.  Took the company in a different direction.

Typical work day is from 9 to 5.
