I've been with Catech systems for several years and have seen a slow but steady move to collaborative problem solving and individually tailored career development opportunities. As the available skill sets grow within the Western Canadian branches the company has been investing in their growth and independent operation while maintaining a "One Team, One Mission" unity.

I've really enjoyed my time at Catech. This is a good place to work if you're intrinsically motivated and strive for self improvement but can be stagnant if you hope to get ahead through time served, only.

I have been with Catech out of Edmonton since 2015. Although there was a lot of volatility in the beginning, there has been tremendous change throughout the company, particularly in the West. There has been a shift towards being more proactive and forward-thinking when it comes to western development, both in terms of personal development and the company. I have grown from a junior technician through to now being the Branch Manager out of Edmonton.

At CaTECH Systems we supply the physical data internet connection by installing network cables and network equipment. I've learned how a network infrastructure runs and how to troubleshoot connection problems. The hardest part of the job is planning. If the cable installation isn't planned effectively, the job could take longer to finish.

- Work days are fair
- Pay is slightly above the average
- Management is run off their feet due to poor staffing and communication, so it leaves a lot to be desired
- workplace culture isn't terrible....but isn't great either. There is high turn over, some undermining between coworkers, withholding info, lack of direction...no one is outright rude or cruel though.

This company allows you to travel all over Toronto and Markham, and even outside doing work. The work itself isn't too hard, but can be physically demanding. Management is consistent and the work hours are usually consistent but can become a back and forth of staying up all night and going in early.

Daily operations, continued to learn daily. Always growing the branch and hired new employees to fulfill the rolls of technicians to support or growing customer base.

It has been a good environment for me. But due to Covid19, the company had to layoff all their new employees. I wish to go back there one day if they regain their strength for for more employees 

It was a relaxed and fun workplace.
the other employees are good people and easy to get along with.
It was a big company nation wide but you weren't treated as a number.

Great environment and people although missing a single day emev for something not in your control will cost you the job. I was very excited to work there and am now devastated they let me go.

dont wanna say anything about them right now but it is a good place to gain experience 
will recommended fif you need a job for a few years
