What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part is meeting clients from all over the globe and knowing that the services provided by us is giving them a    head start on how to navigate themselves in a world and an economy that may be foriegn to them giving them knowledge and guidance at the same time, while letting them know there is an organization that is there always to turn to if at any time they are in doubt, in need, be it The Bridge Foundation or another that we can refer them to.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I completed my practicum with the Bridge Foundation and found it to be a very relaxed environment 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Employees and volunteers from teenagers to elderly adults, caring world conscious, knowledgeable, team players, gold oriented.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As a practicum student my duties were to greet new clients and introduce them to our junior high and high school mentorship program. Typical day of doing that ran from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

As an after school program leader, a typical day consists working along side one or two leaders and a program coordinator to provide lesson plans that help to promote youth empowerment, English-speaking and social skills, community engagement and student success.

Every summer, we orient newcomer students in school before they go to school. We help them to become much confident and overcome their fear. One of the hardest part is some of them cannot speak in english well and i have to understand what they want to say even though I cannot understand their language. At the end, talking to them will help me to understand and help them. The thing that I enjoy the most is i meet new friends.

Calgary Bridge Foundation for youth is a very unique organization with so many activities and skills fun games field trips and so many more. I have learned a lot from CBFY since i arrived in Calgary and joined the group and also made new friends!

I have both volunteered and been an employee at CBFY! The environment is an absolutely delightful,  and you will always meet new and wonderful people! When I was younger I used to be in the program, and have had the opportunity to work alongside them, I owe so much to this wonderful company who helped me become who I am today!

This is one of the best places to work at. Everyone who works here is talented in special ways and each individual is valued. Some position include interactions with children who are so adorable. Working with this organization ensure that you get a lot of valuable experience and have a lot of fun along the way

One man show, I have to handle everything from budgeting to payroll administration, employee's benefits plan, day-to-day posting, bank reconcile, A/R and A/P, government monthly and treasury reports.

I learned a lot on external audit and manage NPO budgets.

It is a really good company since we are able to help out  a lot of people, and not just that but we are able to help each other out as well the environment everything in it is really good and everyone in there is super nice

It is a great place to work and always fun and fulfilling working with youth. I have learnt a lot about lesson planning aimed at different schools. The people i work with a great and supportive.
