What is the best part of working at the company?
By far was the postive attitude and how each employee tries to create a postive work environment. The leadership staff are amazing and hard working. I have never worked somewhere so postive.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes you have to be fast and efficient to work around golfers 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Absolutely amazing. I loved it. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You start the day working your daily tasks then once completed you will be tasked onto working on other jobs around the course. There is lots of variety.

The management team at the Calgary Golf and Country Club was great in all departments. The club had a firm workplace culture focusing on team commitment and excellent service. A typical day at work as part of the Member Services team consisted of setting up and maintaining the day to day operations for the members. The hardest part of the job was familiarizing oneself with the members. It was very enjoyable to work in a beautiful environment secluded from the everyday noise and crowds of the city.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There are some amazing staff that work there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The low tips and having to deal with management, including the general manager who is on some strange pedestal.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
For the most part it is friendly. However, the older servers work like they are in a diner. Staff food is good.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A lot of side duties. A lot of set up and take down for events.

Overall good job, very stressful at times, long overtime hours sometimes, good pay. Managers weren't very nice or fluent in English- called me stupid because I couldn't understand their gibberish. I worked very hard and they were happy with me , I was no longer needed after the Christmas season due to shortage of work.

Working at the Calgary Golf and Country Club showed me some extravagant perspectives in the Culinary Arts industry and different tools and approaches regarding dishes and different fields in the Culinary Industry. The only issue I believe working at the Calgary Golf and Country Club would have been the work/life balance.

Learn a lot about the food industry from small fine dining to large scale banquets. Good hourly wage and friendly. Work a lot of hours and can be chaotic.

CGCC is a good summer job for students and underpaid for older or retired seasonal workers. A lot of the jobs are part time but you can work overtime up to the max hours allowable.

Work hard long but enjoyable hours, where the management challenged you to learn and do your best. There was a high standard expected of you and this made working there enjoyable.

I only worked there briefly but, good few months. It was nice Abe is a blast, Chef is funny in his ways. There is discounted golf, if you golf.. alot of the city's elite golf here.
