Calgary International Airport

My job as a Sales Associate in Duty Free was pretty fun, although I must say that the schedule of shifts that I worked while working at the airport was pretty challenging because the stores opens at 4 am in the morning and the latest was around 2 am in the morning, but sometimes it depends on the flight we have on that day. For the record though, it was a nice place to work, you'll learn a lot about selling and it's fun talking to people because most of the people you encounter are from different places with different languages having vacation here.

Most of the supervisors treated the security staff badly.Typical day at work was good. I learned to help a lot of people and getting them off to there destinations. Not all but a lot of the management I don't think wanted to be there they were always in a miserable mood and I talked to a lot of the guards and they did not want to be there. The airport went through a lot of people . The people I worked with were great. The hours were long and every time you came back from a four day rotation you were on a different time. I enjoyed helping the people there.

Working at the airport gives you the benefit of meeting new people everyday. At work, times may be tough but working side by side with your friends and colleague makes it a bit light. Also, the best thing i love is the flexibility of the schedule that allows you to give away and trade your shifts with your workmates and prevent you from booking off from work.

If you're looking for a challenge in a fast-pace environment, this is the place to be. The work environment is challenging due to the size of the workplace, the complexity of the operation and managing the relationships with various stakeholders.

my first day at job was bit difficult because everything was new for me but now I am completely all right with everything. I have learned exceptional customer service and cash management. All my co-workers are very nice and hard working

Assisting customers daily with any questions regarding the terminal or flight information. Enjoy meeting new people on a daily basis.Learned how to interact with fellow co-workers, and how to have fun along with getting the job done.

The Calgary International Airport is a great place to work and from my experience with the company i worked for they would do everything they could to maintain a safe and enjoyable working environment

Learned lots from this job, built a large amount of self confidence from this job and some days do miss this job.  I enjoyed most of the people I worked with and I thoroughly enjoyed working with planes,

The YYC airport is a great place to work. It is a fast pace environment with many opportunities to advance or find a job in a busy work setting. There are many different department that people are able to work in.

I love the team that I am blessed to work with. The hardest part of the job is learning the system but once the knowledge sinks in, the job is amazing and the passengers are fantastic.
