I really enjoy work with deaf person and help this person development for learn how to skills communication, education and enjoy for any events. 

This deaf person disability have right and tried tell manager how this person feeling that how manager really no respect, not listen to this person feeling for truth and etc.  Manager threat me that I have to interpreter for deaf person but I am not involve for interpreter and conflict because I am only support worker.  Manager said you must interpreter or you can’t work with this.   I feel hurt and shock what kind of manager job.  Manager is over boundaries to my way because I am not certificate of interpreter and suppose hire to DHA interpreter service that this deaf person have right and want professional interpreter so manager not listen to her that how manager make it up and put make look bad on my name.   I really hurt and shock that manager doing like that and deaf person really upset about it.  I have lots of truth story but I rather this deaf person really honest and tell truth how this deaf person feeling.  The manager did destroy my name on record and really hurt me,  I give it to God’s hand and take care with this situation. 

Good luck to new staff or staff wake up and think of respect deaf person’s feeling for everything also I hope someday they have to stand up and speak up to them for protect deaf disability peoples.

my best part of working at the company is the consistent training and the support given by the case managers . it makes learning and re-learning so assessable

the most stressful part is when my client is restless and will not want to sit in a place for even few minutes rather prefers to move around

the work environment is friendly and the trainings are interactive

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
everyday is always eventful and pack full of one activity or the other

It's always an exiting experience working there as you are dealing and supporting people who depends on the supports provided by the agency as per their needs, in line with recommended and approved support strategies/plans/protocols. Such responsibility brings you challenges on day to day basis which are also opportunities of learning and helpful in advancing one's career. Management is very much supportive and ready to make changes as per needs and rationale. Co-workers are awesome, an additional benefit!

A typical day involves taking the clients out for their activities. Most of the training is provided by the company, which great, and the wages are some of the highest I've seen out of all the agencies that provide these types of supports. Definitely a good place to work if you're looking to get your foot in the door with social work as well as the hours are very flexible I find. The job can be stressful at times depending on the nature of individuals that you support but if you have the patience for it it is definitely worth staying.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Direct managers were not held to account. Their shortcomings were allowed to be passed down to field workers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management treating staff as tho they were completely disposable.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Within the office the environment is toxic. In the field, it’s wonderful! Clients were a gift.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
If I didn’t need to communicate with the office, it was a great day.

CPLF is a great place to start off if you are interested in working within the health care field and helping people. I have acquired a high level of patience and understanding of different individuals strengths and weaknesses. It has helped me develop multitasking skills dealing with different tasks such as medication administration, documentation, and emotional support for these vulnerable individuals.

CPLF has been marred by unprofessional conduct, particularly between the Coo and CEO. Their frequent yelling matches in front of employees create a toxic work environment, undermining morale and productivity. Additionally, their penchant for micromanagement crosses boundaries of respect and ethics, stifling autonomy and growth. Such behavior is not conducive to a healthy workplace and should be addressed promptly for the well-being of all employees.

Best part of job were my Co-workers

Staff, both supervisors and office staff 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic! Many staff felt like they were walking on egg shells 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Sitting around all day especially during winter months

Employees work together as a team to support their clients needs and interests as well as to encourage inclusion for everyone. Employees also actively engage clients in all aspects of life's experiences with equal opportunity and allow them to make choices and feel like they belong. For example, participating in community recreation activities, making friends and contributing to all development programs and planning processes.
