Good crew with a good foreman. Great salary and good guys to work with. No job security and management was terrible. You're just a number and management doesn't use any type of seniority when laying workers off. Flights were good if you lived in Alberta, but anywhere out of province was a nightmare.

Work environment was excellent and friendly. Safety was first priority at job. Management was very kind and learnt lot of practical experiences.  First time I got a camp living environment. Two times morning and evening kitchen open to eat, for lunch we have to pick some food for lunch at job.

Work consisted of 10 - 12 hour days.
Completing morning paperwork, then doing inspections and surveillances for the rest of the day.
Management is very approachable.
Good work culture, and everyone was easy to get along with.
Sometimes the pace was very hectic. 
Everyone worked with a very work safe attitude and looked after each other

I was able to step out of my role as "just an apprentice" and get into challenging but rewarding aspects of construction, maintanance, and pre-commissioning. Management was quick to acknowledge positive work and safety habits publicly while keeping any negative asspects on a one on one basis.

EVERY DAY THERE WAS SOMETHING  NEW AND DIFFERENT. LIKE INSTALLING DEVICES, TROUBLE SHOOTING AND TERMINATIONS. ALMOST ALL OF THE CO-WORKERS WERE NICE GUYS AND WE WERE LIKE A BIG FAMILY. THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF JOB WAS WHEN OUR FOREMAN WOULD THANK US AFTER WE HAD FINISHED THE JOB HE HAD ASSIGNED.

Exercise and huddle at the start of shift. Learned about the importance of safety. Excellent management. I was surrounded with supportive and positive people. Hard to be away from the family. Job was easy. Amazed by the wonders of technology.

It is good to work for Callisto, good salary but they don't protect you against the main contractor. As they are sub-contractor for my site, any comment from the main contractor will make them lay you off without discussion.

A good year with this company and loved coming into work everyday. Great people, however the pay was decent and average. Would definitely come back though if the opportunity presented itself. Worth it for sure

Dealing with apprentices and journeymen. Giving instruction to all coworkers to make deadlines. Planning, making work teams, coworkers strengths and weaknesses.

Just there for a shutdown. Food @ CNRL has gotten MUCH better! And the Onsite Airstrip cuts down so much travel time. No 2hr bus ride in the woods! But CNRL still has gang bathrooms in the middle of the trailers
