This isnt much of a workplace but they really oversell everything to kids. I was surprised when my first paycheck came in because it was very much less than they said I would get per month. It is a lot of work for next to no money. None of it is fun unless you have a friend. The hardest part was probably when I would have to drag an 80 lbs cart up a hill covered in ice, in the dark. If I fell down and broke something Im sure they would expect me to still manage the cart and hill. And I probably would because its not fair to the people to not get their paper

In the time I worked here, I found it to be a good experience and very good exercise, but If I were to work here now, it would not be my only job. I believe its good for young individuals to give this a try: look in the local newspaper, find the area code that's closest to your area, and if its there (and you have something big enough to lug those papers around, you'll need it!) then I suggest trying it. Only in between 3-6ish, and I think it's only on Thursdays now, so it's a very simple job on a very simple schedule, with simple all-the-time benefits!

Most definetly not a good job to work at. If you have a kid that 11 or so and they want money, get them a job here. The pay isnt high but the kids will like it, Id you're older than 15 for gods sake do not work here. Horrible pay, you bave to do so mucb for such little pay its not worth it and on top of that you're getting rushed as well so if you arent good under stress this should be the last option for you.

Is an exciting position with respect to meeting new clients and learning about local businesses and their needs. The digital advertising piece of the sale needs to be updated however the print advertising aspect is well represented by the company.

I found that working at Cambridge times was a great first job to work at. I learned how to stay committed to the job to keep the people that wanted papers happy. The hardest part of the job was trying to get all the papers delivered at the right time because of my extracurricular activities.

Delivering news papers for Cambridge times helped me on my time management and responsibility. In order to get the job done quick, i had to organize the news papers ahead of time so then i could quickly make a house to house delivery and be done on time.

Tuesdays and Thursdays were my day at work and it was flexible times, I personally started to make the newspapers after school and start handing hem out. I learned to manage my time wisely, school and work. Hardest part of the job was to make them and most enjoyable was to go out and hand them.

I worked as a newspaper delivery person as a kid, It was fine for the most part but the only major problem was the wages. I was making around $10 per week. Fine enough when I was doing it in 2014 to buy a toy or something per month but would not reccomend unless they have increased the wages.

Delivering all the newspapers before 5:00pm . I learned the streets around my house more, the hardest part of the job was that the newspapers were heavy so I had to make a second trip. The most enjoyable part about this job was getting to know the people I delivered to.

I delivered papers when I was 11 years old.  I had to insert flyers into the papers and deliver them to all the houses in my neighbourhood.  It was a bit much for an 11 year old but a good learning experience entering the job world
