Make sure all the Thermal Vac Formers were up and running if they were down assist maintenance in finding out what the problem was and keeping downtime to a minimum. Always in touch with management  to let them know if it was going to be down for any length of time so we could let other shifts know if they were coming in to work for a full shift or if people would be sent home.To always have enough inventory for all 3 shifts to stay up and running.The most enjoyable part of the job was the traveling to England and Italy to see how the machines and moulds were built so that when they arrived here we could assist in the way they went together.

Spent most of my working life here until plant closure. Starting on assembly line, made lots of friends, enjoyed opportunities provided.
Paid education fees, which with I obtained a computer degree in Business Computers. This led me to the Warehousing office and the opportunity to learn all facets of office life and distribution in North America. I enjoyed the challenges of the job that constantly was changing as I acquired more skills.

The boss was miserable and mean the other employees from eastern Canada were not too friendly 
One of the labourers wanted my job and constantly B S the boss  All round it was a nasty experience with below average pay.
When I first arrived had to sleep in a unfinished  mobile home no doors no washroom was very cold and black flys mosquito

Over the course of 21 years I was an assembler, spary painter, line work and inspection. I enjoyed working with both the management and co-workers. I believed that my entire career would be within this company. The unfortunate truth is the company was offered many tax and land incentives to relocate to the southern United States.

I found their management to be very effectively trained using the six sigma philosophy.  Very good communication between departments and management.  The people in my department which was depot management and training worked very well together and had a great team philosophy.

Camco is a very good employer. They are very good to their employees and they will work with you if you wish to advance in your career. I would recommend them for sure. They also have great bonus and employee incentives

After twenty - one years of service with the company I was permanently laid off due to plant closure.While I was there, I gained allot of experience in production work and mechanical maintenance and repair.

This is becoming absolutely ridiculous. This company closed and moved it's operation to Mexico. left approximately 1000 people out of work. I'm supposed to leave a review ?

This was a great place to start my career and provided many opportunities for growth.  Unfortunately, the plant closed shortly after I left the company.

Very good place to work, good people, great bosses and very good workplace all around
