I worked at Campaign Support, and unfortunately, they do not follow Ontario's Employment Standard requirements. Campaign support requires employees to work a minimum of four shifts per week, which establishes a regular work pattern. However, shifts are frequently canceled on the same day, leaving workers without income despite their ongoing commitment to the schedule.

Under Ontario's Three-Hour Rule, if an employer cancels a shift on short notice, they are required to pay employees for at least three hours of work. Campaign Support does not follow this, resulting in lost wages for workers who had already planned their availability.

The company also requires mandatory training without pay, which is another direct violation of Ontario labor laws. To make things worse, supervisors are not supportive at all—concerns about scheduling and unfair treatment are ignored or dismissed. There’s little communication, and employees are often left scrambling when shifts are suddenly removed.

If you're looking for reliable hours, fair treatment, and decent management, this might not be the best place. Also they are not a CRIC Accredited Agency, so the work is not necessarily credible. 

Job was ok.  Very repetitive,  rude callers,  tho there were some good points I still wouldn't recommend Campaign support because they were always cancelling my shifts, reducing my hours and laid everyone off December 2nd until January without notice.  Very unstable, low paying job,  no raises or chances to advance in the company. Also wondered why my hours on my paystubs were written in point form discovered they don't pay for breaks or meals which is a disgusting unfair practice..  Depending on the hours worked you got half an hour to an hour for lunches and breaks and sometimes nothing.  Found out some workers get paid more for the same work.  I know they get paid a large amount from contractors but it seems management keeps a large amount of it for themselves.  Simply put I need a new job.

This job was done straight from home and I greatly enjoyed it. 

It was an excellent customer service experience that allowed me to make a little money and fit my college hours. As stated above I could do this job from home and could choose the hours I wished to work. As it is from my own computer you didn't really have "co-workers" in the traditional sense... there were others online on the program and you could speak to them but ultimately it was solo work. 
Management was always respectful. If  you had a problem they addressed it immediately. You had access to all management if you wanted - from the supervisors to the managers - and they clearly set out their requirements right from the start.

Campaign Support was one of the poorest run and non-supportive employere I have ever encountered. Management expected unconditional lcooperation and flexibility from employees, but would cancel a shift moments before it began with no consideration of our time/schedule. They actually went out of business at one point (with zero notice), only to email a few months later asking if employees wanted to be re-hired! They showed zero respect for us and had poor business practices. When I emailed my resignation it was not eve achnowledged. They simply dropped me from the schedule. The only advantage was that we worked from home. I would never advise anyone to work for this unethical employer.

I felt obligated to warn people that there is rarely any hours with this company; I am shocked and wondering why they keep posting ads when there is literally no work. I have been with them for many months and only had like 1 shift so far lol. I would recommend this for people who are retired or someone with an extremely flexible schedule who just wants to do this as a side hobby and will not need to rely on the money from this job. Because they will literally cancel your shift 1 hour before its supposed to start, so you cannot rely on it.

It is nice to get to work from home though and it is very easy work for the pay.

 EThis company has zero concern or care for its employees. They expect employees to be available at a moment’s notice and cancel shifts with very little notice, often within an hour of the scheduled start time. Supervisors/management (very often the same people) show no compassion or support for long term employees, and God help any new ones. Do not be fooled by their pleasant demeanour, they are as nasty as they come! By the way, I worked for them over several years including one memorable time when they shut the company down with NO notice whatsoever and the blithely started back up a few months later! No explanation, let alone apology. The worst employer I ever experienced.

Overall it's an easy job.  You read the script and select the caller's answers.  The supervisors are really nice, the hours aren't great but I guess it picks up around election time.  Training is streamlined and they'll work with you one on one if you need more help.  They pay is pretty good for a work at home job.  You're able to take your breaks when you want instead of being told, they're pretty flexible on how much of the allotted time you take and when.  I just started not too long ago so we'll see how it goes now that work is picking up.

Projects and hours vary making this a very interesting company to work for.  Training is excellent and the manager and supervisors are readily available if you need help. Working from home is very convenient and I really enjoyed working for Campaign Research.  My job was terminated due to recent legislative changes as well as other financial pressures.

Campaign Research is a good job. The wage per hour is good. The only thing is that you dont get benifits which sucks. One thing i love about campaign research is that they send you the shifts that they have available for you to work and you can plan it accordingly to your own schudle. So if you have kids you can work around them. Its really easy because the script that you have to read shows up on your computer.

Working for Campaign Research involves learning of the Five 9 cloud system.  Staff is always ready and willing to help you out if there are any questions or concerns as is Five 9 staff.  

This company offers a variety of jobs, which makes working for them fun.  One day you might be working and communicating with people on the Canadian West Coast regarding a mayoral election and the next day a farming project in the Prairies.  

It's a fun place to work.
