I was brought in for a shipper/receiver position and was never given any tasks related to my job. For three months they had me assisting with mechanical assembly to fit their needs and when I requested that I needed training in regards to my position, they let me go. This place is concerning for a number of reasons.
Firstly, management breathes down your neck while you are working to ensure production runs smoothly, the only problem is the complete lack of training and delegation of tasks makes for a very frustrating work day. I remember being trained by a fellow co-worker and when asked if he was the lead hand/supervisor he responded, almost as if he was afraid for his job.
Secondly, this is a very toxic work environment with an absence of any safety procedures in place.There were many unsafe workplace practices such as no ventilation while spraying toxic paints.Also not to mention the inventory was in disarray. 
Lastly, this company displayed  low morale with a high turn-over rate, I would highly recommend any self respecting person NOT to work at this company and to avoid at all costs.

Great company to work with.  I joined the Campo Team 8 years ago as an assembler and was promoted over time to a management role position.  They recognize and reward their employees which is a rarity or at least something I've never experienced before.  They do not micro manage employees and thus I learned from doing which is the best kind of experience and education one can obtain.  I feel extremely fortunate to have been on the Campo Team and encourage anyone that has true ambition to join the team, your efforts will not go unnoticed.  

I'm a new immigrate to Canada. This company took every advantage of immigrate because we don't have our community here, we don't have our famlily here, and we are helpless. After I worked here for 2 months i decided to go back to my hometown. I feel scared to work here.Boss are not friendly and overtime working everyday. No training. It's not safe to work here. It's very easy to hurt yourself.

This is a famlily runned compnay. The famliy is strange and could not control their mood. You will not feel respected in the compnay. Quick production.You can say too much about the quality. No safty protection. It's easy to hurt yourselvs.

My experience at Campo equipment was good in the sense that the company offered lots of hands on experience in the assembly sector, also, further understanding in the heat exchange process.

Quick production which make the quality very concern.

As an assebler. The company doesn't offer us any chairs. We made our chairs ourselves from the plastic reels, which we got from used wires.

We put some bubbly wrap on the reel as a cushion.

I feel so sad!!!

This is a small sized company without an management. They took every single advangtage of the law and force people to work. 

Canada advocates humanitarianism. But here you could find nothing.

if you need a quick buck or two this is the place to work , and you will have almost have no work/life or job security.  i seen them walk out one of their most loyal employees i knew that was it for me.

Working 10 hours a day 6 days a week is not fun
Overtime working is very common
No training before working 
No parking lot 
Boss is not friendly 
No local people working here
