Can Do People

Most enjoyable was working with clients that needed special diction to plan there day.picking up clients from there homes and seeing them first thing to greet them and make there day start with a smile. team members where very helpful with there direction.getting to know all clients and interact with them day to day. typical day,morning schedule book for clients day. planed and prep for activity's,meal planning at lunch. get client ready for outside activity's,biking swimming,delivering flyers, dances,birthday parties and all winter activities. and at the end of the day,communication book for client to help parents or home workers see there daily activity's. workplace culture was very up beat and people from many walks of life. the hardest part was clients leaving day program to move on to the next level of care.i enjoyed going to work because of the team that i worked with and learned from and the clients that iv had well working at Can Do People which is a level B. Im looking for a good company that cares about there clients, and im willing to learn more everyday.

love it to work here, 
but i didnt have a private office which complicates days such a payroll days, or reconciliation, being the bookeeper, receptionist clerck, office manager, accounts payable, accounts receivable client and staff management in formation responsible was a big responsibility that the low salary with no benefits. and constant interruptions started to make may days less enjoyables.
the director is an incredible human being but she does not understand accounting principles and is reluctant to accept any advise if you suggest to hold expenses when the cash flow required that kind of strategy.

Days were 13 hours & the work was good as it was what I liked doing,
 Fixed & worked on everything by my self or with the crew. 
  We were taking up a old railroad & my main job was to cut the rails with the torch. 
    But we had many duty’s throughout the day to keep things moving along, 
  It was a easygoing work place , everyone knew there stuff & where & when to help to get the job done. 
    There was very little foolishness & everyone look after each other. 
 Safe & nice place to work. 
   Job ended when the railroad was pulled up.

after being given a promotion and being promised various things to aid in being  able to complete tasks, promises were not met and I was blamed for lack of productivity. When I complained to HR I was dismissed entirely.
 Constant negativity and a management team that values compliance from clients over learning life skills or building relationships.

I actually loved every client and still miss them to this day. Great idea. Love helping people. No balance though. Felt like everything the staff did was wrong. We never got good feedback so it made the place very hard to work at. Good work never got noticed. Wage is awful. At least their is benifits.

This place is  friendly and always make time to help you when your in need. There are great training and development opportunities and you get a sense that it is a company that is going somewhere, there is always a drive to be bigger and better than before. Overall a fantastic company to work for 5 star

don't bother, since pay is below poverty line, and too much stress involved from having to deal with a micro-managing director; as well as nepotism and favouritism being paramount to the less-than-qualified human resources manager

Hardest part of the job is being put into unsafe situations by management and leadership not supporting you
Most enjoyable part of job was seeing clients and making friendships. 

It used to be such a great place to work but as the years went on it went downhill. I don’t know if the boss is getting too overwhelmed but it can be a toxic environment to work in.

the staff cooperate with one another and they look after each other, the management makes the place effective for people to work. the client are nice to work with if the understanding is there.
