I did not learned anything from my job, actually I was not doing what I was supposed to do. It is super slow, everything needs many layers of consultation and you are not producing anything! You spend most of the day in useless meetings. Too many forms to fill for everything. I got so bored!! And in the government is everywhere the same. Not for me! 

I enjoyed working for Canada School of Public Service. There are many challenges working with ILMS Systems. integration challenges for integrating ILMS with GCCampus and BI projects. I appreciated the team working environment, location of Asticou Center., the management team, the clients and spirit of collaboration.

The CSPS is a small federal organization, which means that an employee does not feel like a number. The work location is in a beautiful part of Ottawa if you are on the Ontario side, and in Gatineau part on the Quebec side. In my role I've felt appreciated and supported, and the organization invites new ideas of how to work.

Now, I did only have this as a summer job, but it was a pretty nice job while it lasted! The people there were nice, management kept a close eye, but were helpful when things went wrong, and overall I had a pleasant experience working there. 

I can only speak to a co-op placement here but it was a very supportive environment and I appreciated my colleagues' assistance in showing me the ropes considering I did not have a lot of experience.

It's okay. Nothing to fancy, no big budget, it's kinda just there. It's not somewhere I would stay if you're looking for something more fun with opportunity for growth. But, if you love teaching this can be a good option for you.

Despite the short contract it was an amazing experience working with amazing people from different parts of the city. the environment was perfect and the team work was exceptional.

Good place to work.  The managers were very willing to listen to your concerns and the work was very interesting.  Because of its small size I was able to participate at many levels.

Workers are commited to learning. Organisation needs better structure. Goals need to be clear. Utter chaos doesnt help. No vision. Low quality staff.
