I'm a current employee at CVL.

The great thing about this company is that you will be recognized for your hard work  (by set KPI scores) through bonuses. 

The company accepts a diversity of backgrounds who are mostly science students and newcomers to Canada and helps start their career growth through the company. You will likely to be involved in 'manufacturing' work settings for vaping products. However, you do get an opportunity to get training in using analytical instruments. 

I wish wage was more competitive but it's balanced with a bonus structure....

The low score ratings here I see represent the employees that were most likely temporary and were not able to meet the management's expectations. This is because SOME science students feel they are privileged for their smartness and regret accepting the manufacturing role in this company.

The managers here are not perfect but they are supportive of their employees that are not lazy. I really love working with my co-workers here as we all share similar interests and are like-minded.

Overall, I do see the management doing their best to improve and implement positive changes for the company and for their employees which I appreciate of.


There is a significant disparity in work standards between leaders and staff in this company. leaders often have flexible working hours and the ability to work from home, while staff members are expected to adhere to strict schedules with limited options for remote work. 

leaders often exercise a personal and emotional management approach that isn’t extended to their teams. one of leader even think he can fire anyone he wants when someone upsets him.

the hard work and dedication demonstrated by staff, recognition is rarely given. Instead, privileges seem to be reserved solely for leaders, creating a clear divide between leadership and the rest of teams.

the management approach here feels corrosive rather than supportive.

I am appalled by the 4 and 5 star fake reviews that were posted. The management team is very unprofessional and treat their employees like trash. Very rude, always try to micromanage the employees. The people who work here don’t even have the liberty to smile, have a conversation while working or they are called upon; regardless of meeting their daily productivity.
The work environment is just depressing with uneducated management people sitting at the helm and micromanaging their employees. 


Management is always willing to support and develop employees. Productive, fast paced and fun environment to be in. Great opportunity for employees to grow their career. Management is always willing to support and develop employees. If you are a top performer, your pay will increase. Speaking from experience. 

It is a good workplace for those who just started their career in Science/Chemistry field.
Young, energized and very fast-paced environment.

The work may not be for all science pursuing candidates, but you will surely get solid work experience and learn a professional attitude towards work

Please save your time effort for elsewhere. This is an absolute garbage of a company with the most pathetic, unprofessional and uneducated senior management with minimum to low English language proficiency. They want to squeeze the life out of employees for a minimum wage. Yes you get a warning for washroom breaks. Most students work their to help them get their papers.

Working here is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the environment is productive and the multicultural team is very friendly. On the other hand, the management can be quite strict, and the pay is close to minimum wage. It’s a solid place to start your career in Canada, but be prepared for a high-pressure environment and repetitive tasks.

Some of the senior management cannot even communicate well in English, so it is difficult to deliver the right instructions for work and causing problems of employee's work results.

Average management, average pay, average appreciation for your work. You need to be a loyal pet if you want to move up the chain of command. If you are good at office politics this is an amazing place to grow.
