I've had the privilege of working at this company for some time, and I can honestly say that the people and the work are exceptional. The team I've been a part of is comprised of genuinely talented and supportive individuals who make every day enjoyable. The projects we work on are exciting and intellectually stimulating, which has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally.However, I must address the downsides. The compensation offered here is far from competitive with industry standards. It can be challenging to make ends meet, especially considering the cost of living. Furthermore, the opportunities for advancement and career growth seem limited. Promotions are rare, and it's often unclear what one needs to do to progress within the company.
In summary, this is a great place to work if you prioritize job satisfaction and working with amazing colleagues. But if you're looking for a company that offers competitive pay and clear paths for career advancement, you may need to consider other options.

They treat their union employees like absolute garbage. The only decent thing is some benefits and a 3 day work week (union positions) but the culture is so bad that those 3 days are a miserable existence. Many Execs and management are soul-less. Salary employees seem to be a bit more satisfied but at the plant, workers hate their life. Band aid fixes for everything, turnover is huge, no long term goals or direction communicated to employees, employees do not feel secure or appreciated. 

Security is by far treated the worst. Management is deceitful during the interview process about the job, culture and shifts. You will end up on nights and/or weekends for years. Overtime money is not worth the terrible work environment. 

If you are a person who loves new challenges and experiences, then you would appreciate to work at CBN. They offer and use a traditional approach in work flow management, but it works. 

The people I work with are good people and have potential to be even greater, given the opportunity. There are people who will walk all over you and there are people who will do anything to help you on your feet. 

The hardest part of this job is when you have nothing to do and just sitting there waiting for work to be assigned due to machine break downs.

The most enjoyable part of this job is the friends you make and people you learn and work with makes it worth wild to come everyday.

The toxicity far outweighs the decent compensation packages unfortunately. Won't get into the specifics on here because they are awful, just please do yourself a favour and STAY FAR AWAY!!

Like family lots of people gossiping behind backs, and it is very clique. If you are a bit outside their mold you are excluded professionally and socially. Some of the higher ups are two faced and you need to watch what you say. Never be seen "doing nothing" and there is no company wide protocol for anything. It's a mish mash of poor communication and overworked people.

The security people are the nicest people and everyone wants to make the best products. It is very customer focused which at least can let you be proud of your involvement. 

Security is probably one of the worst places to work. Management is is incompetent and unwilling to improve anything that it needs to be overhauled from the top down.

Management doesn't care if you work hard or not so after a few months you'll do the bare minimum. Training is very lacking and doesn't seem a priority. Management will also look for any reason to fire you, they have clear favorites.

Also you have to sit there for 12hrs, no book, no puzzle, no phone, no drawing, just staring at cameras with a radio. 

The only Pros: 3 day work week, job is pretty easy, you get insurance and pension, above the average pay.

Direct managers were 10/10, co-workers and culture were 10/10, but sometimes direction from upper management/executives was unclear and their understanding of the work their staff was doing wasn't great. 
CBN is great at finding the best people for the job, but prioritizing the tasks those people are working on could be improved upon.
Given the opportunity, I would work with CBN again. If you're seeing this review because you're unsure if they're a good company to work for, the answer is a solid yes.

I’ve worked for a few printers in my career and I can say with out any doubts that this is the best company I’ve worked for. They care about you. During the pandemic they paid for your breakfast and lunch every single day. I don’t know what other company would do that. It’s also been a game changer for me as I’m making a living wage. Thank you CBN I’m very grateful to be an employee of yours 😎

Most pathetic middle manager i've ever had in my life.  It was a good job. It's about working for the privileged small minded  is why I left. All the workers were very good to work with. Management was in their own bubble. If you enjoy middle managers looking down their nose at it's the place to be. If it doesn't bother you, go for it. The maintenance department was the most miserable people.I've ever worked with also.
