The pay is low considering the workload. The work environment is generally fine if you keep to yourself, as most tasks are done independently. However, working in the clinic is physically demanding. You are responsible for cleaning not just the clinic area but the entire school, often with very little help.

In addition to supervising students, you're expected to sell products and packages, book appointments, answer phones, perform services, and maintain the clinic. It can be stressful, especially when students are unreliable and don’t show up for their clinical hours, leaving you to take on extra work.

Management is okay but can sometimes be toxic, depending on the situation. Overall, it’s a demanding job with a lot of responsibilities, and the compensation doesn’t reflect the workload. This is a good place to work if you want to learn but if you want to advance your career this is not the place for you. 

Was here for an unpaid internship required by the school to graduate. There are barely any clients coming into the clinic, maybe only one or two per day. All that is left to do is practice on our fellow students which gets redundant and gives us no real experience dealing with different client skin types, concerns, and personalities. Many of our treatments can’t be performed because we don’t have the supplies or product. Staff is very unprofessional and unorganized, and if you go to them with a concern it is not taken seriously. There is a lot of drama and gossiping between people who are supposed to be adults, but act like they are in high school. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, you will gain no useful work experience and tuition is very expensive to be wasting on such a place.

All in all this place was a good learning experience to know what I need and want from a spa that I work at.
I worked very long days doing things I didn't know would be my responsibility. Also I had very short lunch breaks to no lunch break because I was needed by students. I did enjoy working with the other staff that were at the school. 
I did not agree with some of managements choices of products and ordering backbar.

Horrible people to work with. Lack of enpathy. They will use you if you are good and they will discard you when no longer  needed. There is not one good or kind person in that company.They are all fake and will stab you in the back.  No matter how hard you try, the owner only likes the 2 people that are close to her and will treat everyone else like trash. If you want to build a reputable career, don't waste your time here. There are more colleges out there who treat their employees with dignity. This is not one of them.

The worst inviroment I've ever had the misfortune to work for .
No heat in the winter 
No hot water to wash hair 
If you help students with clients during lunch they dont pay you 
Doesnt follow government regulations let's students finish before they have completed there mandatory hours set by the ministry. 
They dont help teacher when she tries to enforce there own school regulations. 
If a student is not finished a client at the end of the day and you stay later you dont get paid

A great opportunity for fresh graduates who get to work on real clients and deal with day-to-day challenges once they are over with the studies. The management always showed concern for everyone individually and therefore the team work was amazing. 

The spa remains busy from morning until evening hence preparing us to work back to back and ensure minimal wait time for the clients.

Worse experience I’ve ever had. They pay their instructors a very low wage for the amount of work they do. They  never replenish their makeup for the classroom so you end up using your own products. Stuff is not very friendly and always seems to be complaining about their work environment.   The turn over is high so it’s difficult to build work relationships.

I completed the manicure and pedicure program here. Then we had some clinical hours and worked on clients that come to the spa.
The experience really prepared me for the professional spa industry.
The first time you work on a client should not be on your first day at work! The clinical hours prepared me so that I was experienced before I left the College.

Treated students like a paycheck. Management overlooks client complaints and has often laughed at them, lies to clients about products just to make sales, and brushes students off when they come forward with complaints or issues. I couldn't work for this company any longer. The students keep this business running, yet they're treated like bottom of the barrel.

The turnover for this company was very high. Never felt secure in my job position. The work environment wasn’t pleasant. Coworkers made it very hard to build relationship with. There was no jobs support or extra training/encouragement. Poorly run work environment.
